About
Tag! You're Dead is a fast-paced, side-scrolling horror arcade game where every second you survive makes the game harder.
Inspired by the FOUND TV film demo_n, this one-button nightmare drops you into a glitch-ridden world full of collapsing platforms, demonic traps, and sudden jump scares. You tap, dash, and jump to stay alive as the screen speeds up and the pressure builds. The farther you get, the faster it goes—and the more twisted the game becomes.
At first, it seems simple: dodge obstacles, survive the demons, and climb the leaderboard. But very quickly, you'll find yourself in a state of full-panic reflexes as the speed increases, the visuals distort, and the enemies become relentless.
It’s brutal, fast, and addictively fun—a game that dares you to try “just one more run” even after your 20th crash.
There are no checkpoints. No second chances. Just your instincts and a steadily unraveling nightmare trying to catch you.
What Makes It Unique:
One-button twitch gameplay
Creepy found footage horror aesthetic
Demons that get faster and smarter the longer you last
Retro glitch visuals and VHS-style effects
Original horror soundtrack that builds with intensity
Tag! You're Dead is perfect for fans of Geometry Dash, Flappy Bird, or anyone who wants a creepy, high-score arcade challenge that feels different every time.
How far can you go before the shadows catch you?

Please plase please pleaseplease pelase please please please please please please please plaes pleas ples please please play this game. I was recently put under for breathing issues, and in my weakest moments, scrolling stupid ♥♥♥♥ games on steam, i came across this gem. Dr. Derris would probably shoot me down for saying this, but i feel as though it wasnt him who saved my life, but instead Tag! You're dead. which is funny, because thanks to this game, im not dead 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Now, i will say-- this game got me so excited that it got really hard to breathe again, but i don't care at all. As much as i love this game, I can't play it for more than a couple of seconds at a time, like 3 or 4 at a time. Every time i try to play longer, i get super out of breathe and i start coughing on my floor. This has happened several times now, and i only hope that in the future my breathe support will allow me to play longer. Every time my fingers hit the keys and i begin this high speed race, it feels as though god himself has graced me with his touch. As much as "Tag! You're Dead" takes the air out of my lungs, it fills them up with air time and time again. As i've fought the battle that is life, i feel as though this game is a noble steed thrusting me forewards. But there are always enemies who strive to shoot down the beautiful horse that is "Tag! You're Dead." Every time i try to introduce my friends to the game, they try to tackle me to the ground. Im not even kidding, they just start jumping towards me with their eyes wide open and their tongues out, attempting to wrestle my keyboard away from me. So ive been forced to save all my love for the game inside of me. All pent up until now. I come to you with this story not to mindlessly praise some game, because TYD is not just... "some game." Anyone who says otherwise is a feebleminded DEMON, not unlike those i've so valiantly slain in this game. I only hope this game can save others like me, and that this review will push this brave steed out to more fighters. 🐎

This game is is god sent. This game metophorically hit me with a truck, scooter, car, foot, bike, motercycle, and any other vehicle you could imagine. This game is a contender for game of forever. I say "This game" but it's NOT just a game, this game makes me think that god himself encarneted into this game. I love this game more than my family, I thought this would just be another dumb game on steam, but it's everything but. This game makes me think that world peace is achievable, if everyone play this game. I have a friend that tried introducing me to this game, and like the fool I was, I tackled him and tried taking away his keyboard. But, like a stork delevering a baby, like a monkey eating a banana, like an adult taking candy from a baby, this game found me. Yes, it found me. I tried to reject it, but I decided to give it a single try, and that tiny bit of gameplay sent me into a spiral. I tried to find videos about this game, but not a single person made videos about this masterpeice. I cried myself to sleep that night, and the night after, and the night after, and all of the following nights. If anybody who loves this game as much as I do can make videos, make them about this god send. The only issue I have with the game is that if I break my high score, I start hyperventilating, my heart starts racing, and my body starts shaking. My phisical and emotional body cannot handle the pure joy and bliss of getting a new high score. Every second of this game is pure joy, the art direction, the story, and the gameplay all merge into the heaven and hell that is tag your dead. If I ever had to choose between TYD and the earth, I would choose TYD a billion times. My undying love for this game kills any hate my body could ever have. I pray that you play this game and let your sins be cleansed.
