Table Tennis Toon!

I can see what this developer is trying to do differently for this simple but deceptively tricky table tennis game, and as there aren't many non-VR ping-pongs around, i decided to stick with it. With what? The control system, which is counter-intuitive to say the least and might be enough to put early players off. Your brain demands that you use your right-stick to take a shot, but instead that moves your aim while your left stick moves your character around and your main buttons determine the shot type, resulting is something a bit QWOP-ey. I'm not gonna lie, it can be frustrating and even when you're used to it you may well ask yourself . . why?? But credit for the dev sticking to their guns despite multiple requests in discussions for an alt control method. And it does work, in trying to emulate the co-ordination and movement needed for a real ping pong match. The control method contributes to another factor; the single player modes get very hard as the difficulty ramps up. Real hard, I mean! Of course, any ping pong game that is too easy will result in a quick burn followed by a lack of interest, so this difficulty curve requires a lot of you to learn all the techniques needed. But it is good fun, elegantly made and nice to look at for a super-cheap price and is a worthy addition to the rare beast that is Steam table tennis.

fun game to play with friends, but a bit difficult for me, i cant seem to beat some of the bots on story mod as of now. good game especially for the price.

The game is fun and finally there is a new table tennis game in third person, thanks god! I played with my friends for a whole night and even people who aren't ping pong fans enjoyed it. The game gave us a lot of funny moment and fueled our competitive spirits xD I hope in the future to see more online modes, maybe even a leaderboard or something like this. Unfortunately the story mode is a bit boring. Anyway I think for this price is worth it.

Initially I was not sure how to play, I was like "Can I aim only at a point?", so I went to the "How to play" page in the menu to understand better. Now it is a pretty cute game, with a good learning curve. Against the cpu is ok but I prefer playing against a friend using steam remote play or locally.

up to now, this is a great tennis table game!!! Only hope they put more real table tennis characters. I am not a fan of Game of Thrones characters but the gameplay beats it off. Strongly recommend.

its one of the only games I could find that were like Rockstar Table Tennis but its just a bit worse

Bon jeu avec un gameplay original qui se distingue des autres. J'aimerais avoir une option de vitesse de jeu pour ralentir. Mon but étant de pouvoir utiliser ma webcam comme kinect pour faire des gestes comme sur wii ou ps3move au lieu d'appuyer sur des boutons. Mais les gestes ca prend du temps alors que les boutons c'est rapide d'où l'idée de ralentir. Ca rendrait le jeu encore plus réaliste.
