I don’t understand why Arena and Legion Rising were split into separate titles, and the developers never properly clarified the differences between the two. Since this game is quite niche, I only managed to figure it out after digging through every major social media platform. What confuses and frustrates me even more is that I spent 30 Chinese yuan on the Arena DLC, only to receive a handful of extra weapons and a Hard Mode—and that Hard Mode is merely available for a trial playthrough. If they’d bundled this DLC into Legion Rising, or just added one extra map to Arena, I wouldn’t have felt ripped off at all; instead, I would’ve happily bought it as a way to support their small indie team, because Synthetik is genuinely an amazing game. I hope fellow players read my review carefully before purchasing the Arena DLC. If you want the full complete experience, you have to buy Legion Rising instead. The Arena DLC is an unnecessary purchase unless you simply intend to back the development team financially.
Roguelike top down shooter with robots and mechanized vehicles. Visuals are good. Gameplay is like this: exterminated and find the exit. Arcade approach without story. On the plus choose character class from many available. I find the game a bit boring. Play if you must otherwise skip.
Main gameplay loop look like it could be fun, but the game control and UI are sooo klunky... The two most important UI elements (HP bar and reload bar) are the two smallest element on the screen, while the "PRESS R TO RELEAD" is taking twice as much space.

Simple fun.
What is this. I start to go through painful boring tutorial of the most boring example of the most boring genre, top-down shooter. I am wandering where is the multiplayer option. Oh, I quit tutorial, go to main menu; there it is. In my region is one server, and it asks for password. I alt+F4 and came to write this and uninstall.
there exist non human players that all sever is empty, there are no meaning of the team kill, there non difficult spike, you just been throw into action then die over and over, you need to eject a magazine then after that you allow to reload are truth really cringle way to play.
this is a demo for the full game. its a fast paced, simple, arcade, non-engaging top-down shooter. the rougelike mode is fun, at least for a bit. the others are not. for some reason it has a reloading minigame and grind 😕 camera is not fixed to your character and can you get lost, especially at the edges of the maps. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3710713604
