Sword Maker is a useful tool for anyone needing to create weapons (not just swords, though those are the focus) for any more casual projects, like a worldbuilding hobby or a D&D campaign. The weapons you can create aren't exactly professional quality, but they still generally look quite good, which is why I say casual projects. I'll give my full thoughts in a list of pros and cons:
Pros:

The tool gets regular updates with new parts to create yet more weapons with.
The devs are easy to get in contact with and will listen to your suggestions.
You can create more than just swords which is cool, but such options are limited. (More axes, maces, etc. would be awesome)
Easy to create unique weapons, and certain parts of the sword-creation process are very easy (others not so much. Check cons)

Cons:

The UI is rather unintuitive and can be difficult to use. It's a skill in and of itself.
Some weapon parts are lower-quality than others (both in resolution and effort put into them), which essentially means there's less parts to use since you won't want to use those lower-quality ones in most cases.
Sunk cost fallacy hits hard the most I'm ever gonna use this for is D&D. Costs too much money for something that gives out pixlr and canva level quality. I would probably recommend this if it wasn't priced so high. I would expect something like this to cost about 5 USD.
I'm a GM for a homebrew 5e game, and Sword Maker is a life-saver. This allows me to make custom, meaningful weapons for my players, and the art is genuinely good. So thank you, Sword Maker, for allowing me to make something beautiful for my players!
Amazing
perfect for my d&d playing/gm-ing purposes !!
Using this to make the swords for the characters in the book I am writing. Lots of options to choose from. Very easy to use.
So much combos
Super fun for creative people to make swords for characters!
Reminds me a lot of the old flash creator games I used to play as a kid while also acting as a simple tool that I personally use for reference and inspiration, all for a pretty generous price. In my opinion would probably benefit from more blades, guards and handles and color/texture options but other than that it's pretty much what the title says: Make swords. And I can't really ask for much more than that.
as a prop maker, this game is perfect and definitely helps get the creative process flowing, if you're a fantasy or video game artist and have £15 to spare, do yourself a favour and GET THIS GAME. You have so many options and you're not even limited to just swords. There's knives, scythes, hammers even a few keyblade designs for kingdom hearts fans like myself. I definitely don't regret my purchase and encourage people to do the same. I've had the app on my phone for a long time so having it full screen on my laptop is even better. Thank you, devs of this game for making such an amazing world building tool and really fun sword making game that's perfect for cosplayers, artists and writers alike
