Bro, I’m not really a VN fan, but I gotta say this one actually hooked me. I was expecting the ending to get kinda dark, but I definitely didn’t see the whole daughter reveal coming. That said, I still can’t get over how the protagonist doesn’t recognize his own daughter—it just feels kinda off to me. Even if Robin neglected his family, they all live in the same house. I find it hard to believe he never once noticed Melody all those years, even if she was avoiding him. Still, it makes sense that it was her all along. Every time Bell showed up right when Sally was nearby and she never suspected anything… yeah, that lines up. Hopefully someday Steam will allow SW Refrain to be released. And sorry if my English isn’t the best. I totally recommend this VN.

I deeply enjoyed reading Sweetest Monster. As I write this, it's on sale for 40% off which makes it a steal of a deal. Even at full price you're not spending much and you're getting a solid 2-3 hours of reading with a nice audio-visual experience (for some reason Steam is saying I only have like 1.1 hours, I think because I played it while offline and syncing got messed up? But I played it for about 2-3 hours). At just $4 CAD it's a great value for about 40,000 words - it is rather brief, but more than that, it's [i]concise[/i]. It hits hard and doesn't waste time to do it. If you look at this game and think you'd like it, I think you should buy it and read it. For me, I did just that, and I was surprised by just how much I got out of it. Hard to not give spoilers, but I'd say I found the overall story very engaging and it left me with a lot of interesting things to think about.

Lo acabo de terminar hoy 11/7/25 a las 18 hs y la verdad tengo muchas cosas que decir. La historia nos cuenta la vida de Robin, padre de familia , junto con sally su esposa, y su hija melly en donde la vida cotidiana de marido y mujer no conecta por diversos motivos que no dire haciendo que su hija sea la mas afectada. sin embargo un acontecimiento repentino lo cambiara todo. La verdad que la historia al principio pensé que no me iba a enganchar, pero claro fue la portada de este videojuego de novela visual la que me atrajo. si, los ojos de bell. Bell Me incitó a comprar este juego y quede con muchas mas ganas de saber que mas pasa, un juego de no tanta duración, sin embargo, plasma el objetivo de la novela hacia el espectador, sentirte áspero, incomodo y con muchas mas preguntas al final que al principio. Es una novela visual que me encantó muchísimo, lo disfruté y como dije antes me quede con muchas mas ganas. todo este juego es desde la perspectiva de Robin, sin embargo, me gustaría que haya una continuación. Por ultimo, si estas pensando en comprarlo, hazlo, te va atrapar como a mi me hizo. Todos los personajes tienen un lado abstracto (menos uno del cual no voy a decir para no spoilear) pero que tiene sentido en base continuas la historia. Amo las novelas y esta no es la excepción.
