Do I like this game? No, I don't really.. Do I want to give it a bad review? Definitely do. But does the game deserve a bad review? Probably not, so here we go... First off, I'd like to point out that out of all endings only two are actually proper romance/happy endings. In the other ones you get to screw around with a partner of your choice only to be cheated on, abused, abondoned and there are even suicides that I think should at least be mentioned in the storepage as a trigger warning for those who might also be suffering from mental instabilities!!! Then there's the slow start to the game that feels like it takes you half an eternity, before you actually get to make any kind of choice. Maybe this would have been better of being a kinetic novel, rather than an otome or yuri game. The story is not all that exciting either.. quite honestly? After I got my first
(and only)
bad ending with Yuka, I got extremly bored in the middle of playing my next route and skipped them all just to get the achivements at least and call it a day. I gave Yuichi's route one more try to do it properly, but towards the end I just couldn't force myself anymore and repeated the same I had done for the previous routes.. The art is quite horrible at times, too. The music is rather generic and the voice acting.. only partial, but I suppose they tried their best. But hey, why despite all of this still give the thums up on this one? Well, because you can tell that everyone that worked on this project tried their best. The story might be one big snore, but they still tried to tell a story here. Aya being an outsider and changing to someone more outgoing, the whole training thing with her grandpa that would make it seem like it makes sense that she suddenly turns into a good player, friendship forming on the teams despite the rather.. awkward joining of Eri or Yuichi's random approach.. They tried, they really did, one can tell. So even though I can't fully go on ahead and recommend this game, I'd still like people to maybe give it a try especially if the whole yuri thing is something you're interested in. Sweet Volley High might be feeling more like a sports anime collage of training and practice matches rather than having anything to do with romance, but.. yeah. Maybe if you have some spare money laying around and feel generous...

i don't think this is worth the price but on sale its better. I think it has some problems such as no gallery. the voice acting isn't terrible. i think it works great with the adult scenes but its a hit/miss other times where they might start part of the sentence then silence. its a short visual novel but i guess that could match the price. there are others that are 10 bucks as well. there are trading cards as well. i wished i could give it a neutral rating but its simply not an option.
bad
