About
Sweep. Spend. Repeat.

Sweeper is a roguelike that fuses the deductive tension of Minesweeper with the compounding economy of a deckbuilder. Every tile you reveal earns money. Every dollar you spend reshapes the next board. Every run ends with a single click you're not sure about.
Across 15 rounds and 3 Acts, you'll build a synergistic engine from Tags, Geoblocks, and ultra-rare Ephemeral Blocks: Items that modify rules, transform tiles, and multiply payouts in ways that interact with each other in ways you didn't plan for.
Each round puts you against a unique Boss modifier. From bosses that change the rhythm of the game to draining your balance, every run's boss lineup is different. And unlike classic Minesweeper, every click reveals exactly one tile. Every decision carries weight.

Features:
— 15-round runs across 3 Acts with escalating boards and bosses
— Tags, Geoblocks, and Ephemeral Blocks with deep synergy potential
— A shop economy that resets between Acts — spend wisely or fall behind
— Boss modifiers on every round, none of them the same
— Seeded runs — share your seed, replay your disasters
— 11 Steam Achievements

If you want to play 5x5 minesweeper that acts like it is Balatro, don't even stop here. The game does not follow standard minesweeper format. You're up into 5x5 or 6x6 grids with a goal of removing X number of tiles. Only issue is, not every tile tells you how many bombs are around. You can play it safe by mining the minimal amount of tiles, but you won't be making much money when doing so. even then, the grids contain anywhere from 6 to 12 bombs starting from stage 2 with grids of 25 tiles, all that while your tiles only tell you how many bombs are around a third of the time. The UI is also very buggy and flashing constantly, the options are minimal to say the least, only having a single master sound "slider". Multiple sounds are extremely loud, such as the explosions, and you can't even turn them down individually. Do not buy this game, waste of 5$
This seems like such a great concept for a game, but the minesweeper mechanics aren't actually integrated properly. Every run you will be forced to randomly guess for close to half the tiles with runs ending purely based on RNG even when you're playing smart, and other runs going deep even when you're half-assing it. I wish the challenges were more around minesweeper and less about getting lucky.

I have been waiting for a game like this for a while. I mainly play the hell out of anything mixing roguelike with any genre. This game has a lot of neat ideas but right now it is too broken and RNG to be anything but an actual waste of time. Most runs end up being impossible. A lot of the items are either extremely underpowered or completely unexplained what they do if anything at all. This last part is speculation but it feels like the board is not generated static at the start of a round but instead the bombs move around, I COULD POSSIBLY BE THAT UNLUCKY but the game never feels like you are building up to have a good build and it feels like there is no synergy with any items. I played this game for 8 hours and only completed one run. I never found any items that I felt like were worth getting except for ones that game me extra lives, BUT I have created a long running list of items to avoid at all costs since they tilt the RNG even further against the player.
Hey there steam, I'm King of Slimes and I did the music for this game. It may be a little rough around the edges right now, however I do think it has a lot of potential and I will continue to make music for future updates.
My ex-wife took the kids 12 years ago and now all i do is play sweeper, ♥♥♥♥ my stupid chud life
Good. But it needs difficulty rebalancing and the screen tearing needs to be fixed.
very interesting game concept and the gameplay can get pretty fun when you figure out how to do runs
This game actually has a decent skill curve but I'm sad my favorite tag got nerfed
To update my review from the stupid childish one I regret making, it is an enjoyable game to play based on minesweeper. It's not perfect, its rough in some areas but it's a decent enough experience if you like minesweeper and want to play a more modernized version of it. 7/10
Good game
