Swarm Sweeper

Swarm Sweeper aims to blend wave survival with RPG progression but, unfortunately, misses the mark in key areas that left me disappointed. [b]The Core Problem: Lack of Control & Engagement[/b] The most significant flaw is the [b]automatic firing[/b]. Your character shoots at the nearest enemies on its own, reducing your role to essentially just moving around. This creates a profound lack of agency and quickly becomes [b]monotonous and boring[/b]. The core gameplay loop – walking around collecting XP for temporary upgrades and fighting a boss after few minutes – feels shallow and unrewarding without direct control over combat. [b]Where it Falls Short[/b] [b]Dynamics are Missing:[/b] The gameplay is severely lacking in dynamism. You just drift from one side to the other, watching the auto-fire do the work. [b]Balance Feels Off:[/b] The difficulty oscillates awkwardly between feeling too easy and then surprisingly punishing, lacking a satisfying middle ground. [b]Sound Design Grates:[/b] The sound effects, particularly the death cries of the aliens, are more irritating than immersive. [b]Presentation:[/b] While the pixel visuals are simple and occasionally passable, the overall package feels distinctly amateurish. [b]The Glimmer (But Not Enough)[/b] The inclusion of [b]light RPG elements[/b] (collecting XP for immediate stat boosts) and the chance to grab temporary powerful weapons offer a faint hint of potential engagement. However, these elements are buried under the fundamental issues of passivity and lack of control. [b]Value & Verdict[/b] While the price point might seem acceptable at first glance, the lack of engaging gameplay makes it hard to justify even a small purchase. The core mechanic of auto-firing strips away too much player involvement, leading to boredom rather than excitement. [b]I cannot recommend Swarm Sweeper in its current state.[/b] I have no plans to return to it.

- 5 minutes before facing boss feel a bit too long, maybe because of the slow firing speed of the default handgun, which makes time feel slow. faster gun speed or more things to do during that time might help. - The roulette pops up too suddenly and quite often, breaking the movement flow. Might work better if it shows up after stepping on something or picking up an item instead of appearing out of nowhere. - Boss hitboxes feel bigger than they look and some stage parts look passable but are actually blocked. - Really like the roulette system for upgrading stats, gacha feels satisfying. - Cute dog.

เกมส์ความยากกำลังดีเล่นได้เพลินๆ แต่เสียงเปิดเกมดังไปหน่อยขี้หูสะเทือนเลยทีเดียว ปล. แอบขัดใจกล่องที่ต้องยิงเยอะมากกว่าจะเปิด มันขัดพอสมควรบางทีมันไม่เลือกยิงกล่องก่อนทำให้ปวดหัวพอสมควร

เกมส์สนุกและดีครับ ส่วนตัวบอสดาเมจแรงไปนิดแต่ก็สู้ไหว ยังผ่านไม่ครบเดี๋ยวกลับมาแก้มือ กล่องสุ่มปืนบางทีก็ใจร้ายไม่ได้ของที่อยากได้ ลองเล่นเกมส์แนวนี้ครั้งแรกถือว่าต้องใช้เวลาพอสมควร

-ตัวเกมใช้สไตล์ pixel art ที่น่าสนใจและมีเอกลักษณ์ การออกแบบตัวละครนักบินอวกาศและสุนัขคู่ใจมีความน่ารัก ขัดกับบรรยากาศฉากหลังสถานีอวกาศที่เต็มไปด้วยอันตราย มีความหลากหลายและสร้างความรู้สึกไม่ปลอดภัยได้เป็นอย่างดี -ความยากในช่วงเริ่มต้น อาจทำให้ผู้เล่นใหม่รู้สึกท้อใจ ระบบสอนเล่น อธิบายระบบต่างๆ อาจไม่ชัดเจนมากนัก แต่ด้วยระบบของเกมที่เรียบง่ายไม่ซับซ้อน จึงชดเชยตรงส่วนนี้ได้ -ทุกครั้งที่ตาย ผู้เล่นสามารถอัพเกรดตัวละครทำให้การเล่นแต่ละครั้งไม่เหมือนเดิม อุปกรณ์และอาวุธที่ได้รับจะมีผลต่อสไตล์การเล่นอย่างมาก ระบบการต่อสู้เป็นจุดแข็งหลักของเกม ฝูงเอเลี่ยนจำนวนมาก มาพร้อมกระสุนที่มาจากรอบด้าน ทำให้ต้องใช้ทักษะในการตัดสินใจ หลบหลีก และโจมตีสวนกลับให้ดี -สุนัขคู่หูของเราไม่ใช่แค่เพื่อนเท่านั้น แต่เป็นส่วนสำคัญในการต่อสู้ สามารถช่วยผู้เล่นเก็บไอเทมต่างๆ ในจุดที่ผู้เล่นไม่สามารถไปถึงได้ การประสานงานระหว่างผู้เล่นและสุนัขคู่หู คือกุญแจที่จะนำพาไปสู่บทสรุปของเกมที่คาดไม่ถึง! 7.8/10

At first glance, this game reminds me of horde survival games that I often play on my phone. It's fun, easy to play and a bit addictive. The 8-bit graphic looks nice in its format. Although the game doesn't give any tutorial, it's pretty easy to grasp. You can understand all the controls within the first minute. The aiming mechanism is a bit different from the similar games I used to play. Normally, your finger or mouse pointer is your aim. Some games just give you auto-aim. This games gives you both auto-aim and manual aim. I think it's the challenging part of this game because you have to learn the aiming mechanism of the gun you use.

ไม่รู้โดนดาเมจจากที่ไหนตอนไหนบ้าง บางทีกล่อง supply เกิดนอก map ไกลเกินไป ในส่วน spin หมุนช้าไปในตอนเริ่มกดหรือจะเป็นการสุ่มเป็นแบบ slot แทนจะได้เพิ่มไอเทมได้ในการสุ่มได้มากขึ้นด้วย เป็นเกมที่เล่นเพลินๆ ตัวเราเก่งขึ้นเรื่อยๆตามจำนวนรอบการเล่นที่หาเงินได้มาอัปเกรดสเตตัสให้ตัวละครที่เล่น แถมมีน้องหมาอวกาศกาศคอยช่วยเราด้วย

This is a fun vampire survivors game made for casual players. It's easy to get into and not too hard like other games of this type. I really enjoyed playing it. Perfect if you want something relaxing to play.

เกมสนุก เล่นได้เพลินๆ ที่สำคัญน้องหมาน่ารัก ถ้ามีน้องหมาให้เลือกมากกว่านี้จะดีมากๆ

Easy to understand, quite simple but challenging, reminds me of 90's arcade game. If weapons could be swap that would be more fun to play. It's a bit waste when I got a good one and there's not much enemy in the spot.
