Too bad. Good game got f by corporate greed
There are so many issues with this game its insane. Amazing concept its fun, but so many bugs all the way down to the window option for display. This isnt unusal for paradox games as they are so mf lazy and greedy.

I really enjoy playing this one, it's nice to take a colony and run with it for a few hours and fight whatever the natural disasters in a given area are, or trying to find that area with resources you need. That said, I'll never be buying a Paradox game again. This isn't a console game where the next generation of console same out and they revamped it. They rereleased the same game with minor improvements (which, for PC games, is supposed to be called a "patch" last I checked). Full price. No discount for previous owners. And for the "old" version, they delisted all the DLC in a braindead attempt to get more money by forcing previous buyers to need to buy the "new" version to get any DLC. Genuinely disgusting.
Relaunched? Should've called it Recharged, since all you're trying to do is charge us AGAIN.
They made remake as new game to buy, no thanks
Had a great time with this game before, but WTF is the relaunched version? The developer is totally a greedy piece of ♥♥♥♥.
Pretty crappy to "remake" this game for a higher price and removing the original. I'm not going to buy the "remake" of this damn game. Why not be honest with your customers and provide an incentive to buy you "remake". Instead you do this anticonsumer crap forcing people to purchase your "remake" if they want DLC that they didn't buy already.
Paradox Interactive has shown a deeply disappointing and anti-consumer attitude toward existing Surviving Mars players. Rather than supporting the community that purchased and continued playing the original game, they have effectively abandoned those players by re-releasing it under a new title and removing the original from the Steam store. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of reimbursement, upgrade options, or meaningful consideration for loyal customers who already invested money into the original game and its content. Expecting existing players to simply buy the game again under a new release is unacceptable. This feels like a blatant attempt to monetise an existing player base rather than reward customer loyalty. I’ll be uninstalling the game and will not be purchasing Surviving Mars: Relaunched or any future games published by Paradox Interactive. Their anti-consumer practices have completely destroyed my trust in this publisher.
Brilliant game, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ publisher.
This game is so enjoyable, especially on 350% difficulty+. It was very enjoyable to learn the mechanics and improve after each colony. Default game speed is too slow on max, but mods fix that. Simulation speed gets slow after 300+ population, so end game can take a long time to complete. The reason I give a thumbs down is this game was removed from the Steam store to drive sales of the 'remaster', which is basically the same product with a newer wrapper. Good game, good developers, classic disappointing Paradox.
