Surgeon Simulator is an over-the-top operation sim, stitching together pitch-black humour with life-saving surgery. Become Dr. Burke, a would-be surgeon with a less than conventional toolkit, as he performs procedures on patients including the Heavy from TF2! ...is that a hammer?

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
The fact that people are putting bad reviews on this game all because they think the game is hard is complete buffoonery. Lowkey a SKILL ISSUE if you can't get used to the controls. The game is a lot of fun. And one more thing, the controls are MEANT to be HARD.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I'm glad I'm not a real Surgeon! Definitely would of killed someone.

Wow. The amount of people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the game being hard is just upsetting. It's supposed to be hard. It's supposed to have clunky controls. If you can't fathom that, then why would you buy this game in the first place?
мы играем за сына сво который поступил на мед?
This game is clunky, awkward, and chaotic and that's the whole point. Rather than replicating real life surgery, the game leans into absurdity. Maybe this is why it is probably better to watch than to play. Watching your favorite YouTuber fumble around, drop scalpels, and accidentally kill Bob can be funny. But doing all of that yourself quickly becomes repetitive after 10 Minutes unless you actively engage with the game's challenge and push through its odd controls. The controls are deliberately awkward. You play as Dr. Nigel Burke, and you control only his left arm using your mouse. Each finger is mapped to a separate key, allowing you to individually close his fingers. To grab something, you need to carefully press the right combination of keys. Performing a surgical procedure becomes a matter of coordination, patience, and more often luck. The game includes several surgical scenarios: heart transplant, kidney transplant, and brain surgery. More operations are available through the Anniversary Edition DLC. Each of these surgeries can be performed in different environments, ranging from a standard hospital operating room to an ambulance racing through traffic or a zero gravity space station. Each location adds a new layer of difficulty and unpredictability. Despite the different settings, all surgeries follow a similar structure. You're presented with a patient and a tray of tools. Your job is to remove the faulty organ and replace it with a donor version. That's it. You don't need to clean up after yourself or put everything back together again. Success is measured by whether the correct organ has been inserted and how much blood the patient has lost in the process. The more unnecessary cuts you make, the more blood is lost over time. If blood levels hit zero, Bob dies and the operation fails. If you succeed, you're graded based on time and blood loss. There's a wide variety of tools available for each job, and most tasks can be approached in several ways. For instance, to access the heart, you'll need to break the ribcage whether with a hammer, a bone saw, or a laser. Some tools are clearly more effective than others, but part of the fun is experimenting. The way you grab tools matters a lot, especially for precise movements. You may need to rotate Nigel's wrist to just the right angle to make a clean cut. But even then, the controls limit how precise you can really be. The different locations each offer their own set of challenges. The hospital operating room is the most straightforward. There's nothing to interfere with your actions, so it's a good place to learn the basics. The ambulance scenario introduces chaos, with sudden braking and sharp turns from the driver that can send your tools and even your arm flying across the vehicle. Tools can hit your patient, or fall onto the floor, never to be used again. The space station level brings a quieter but even harder challange in zero gravity. Tools float freely, and if one drifts out of reach or off the screen, it's gone for good. These levels require trial and error, and some patience to figure out how to manage their particular quirks. Beyond the core gameplay, Surgeon Simulator hides a few easter eggs and silly interactions for players to discover. Even the main menu is an interactive desk with physical objects you can play with, some of which hint at hidden secrets. There's also a set of achievements that encourage you to try bizarre or unconventional things in game. These little extras don't add depth, but they do add personality. I think it is a game best played in short sessions inbetween. It's intentionally ridiculous and if that sounds like your kind of humor, you'll probably have some fun with it. Just don't expect a deep or lasting experience. The novelty wears off quickly unless you're determined to master every level.
This is masochistic!. I refuse to subject myself to this any further, the controls are just too frustrating.
