Superbugs: Awaken

I stumbled across this during my normal weekend search for fun co-op games to play with my friends. I thought the concept about communication seemed interesting. After playing for a few hours, I can say this is a great buy. It requires quick thinking, strong communication, and does a great job ramping up the challenge. If you're looking for something fun to play with a friend, definitely don't skip this!

This game tests the bonds of friendships as you needle your self from the bottom of our dear "Mimi" to the top. From a chocolate bar with a dump truck full of cake to multiple depictions of "butt" plugs it will leave you extremely curious and somewhat afraid of your friends "private time" habits. Watch out for "phat" dog bones and skinny ones alike my dudes. You never know when a peanut might actually be a poop. 10/10 must play.

Overall a solid concept with a good gameplay execution, but an awfully slow and difficult start. The options menu is extremely lacking with only audio volume and quality preset present. No FOV setting is a huge negative and almost makes me not want to recommend this game! Pros: + Has a great amount of variety once you get past the tutorial stages. The game adds new mechanics and adds a lot of variety to each new level. + Solid concept with both players needing to do multiple things at once, creating a fun chaotic experience. Negatives: - No resolution settings - No FOV settings and the FOV is quite narrow for the first person perspective. If you have two people that are sensitive to low fov this game is UNPLAYABLE, however if only one person is sensitive you can play as the doctor as a "fix". - AWFULLY slow tutorials and no way to skip it. - Awful balancing on first few levels after the tutorial. Way too hard for new players. - Terrible menus that feel like a mobile game

Fun, creative asymmetrical coop game. Pretty quick, but good challenge with a friend Beware: on last level, do NOT use the trim on behavior; it glitches out and will not allow you to select the correct behavior on the Bossy Boss fight.

Love the concept of the game, It's really fun, especially with the right people. 10/10 would recommend.
