Information / Review English
Super Clown 3: Revenge is a small platformer game developed by Valkeala Softwares and Tero Lunkka.
Gameplay / Story
Always wanted to be a clown? Then please continue. Peace stars has been conquered, which have kept the peace in the world and what now? Our main character is an unknown/young hero chosen to save the world. We slip into the role of a super clown. An evil wizard who has raised an army of zombies and must be driven out and order restored. On your journey you have to compete against a hand of different opponents and also bosses. Man who was sent on a mission to collect musical notes from different worlds. You can only progress if you really collect all of them, because only then will a new portal open to close the world and the piano can be played. But that's anything but easy, as enemies with various weapons like rockets try to keep you from your mission. There are clues hidden everywhere that give you tips. There are also coins, which are also hidden in barrels. If you die, you start over. So we happily hop through the different worlds, collect objects such as power-ups, dodge obstacles, jump over them and defeat opponents like we know from other games like Mario. Bosses are defeated by jumping on their heads as an example where we jump on their heads three times in total. If we're defeated, we start all over again.
Per
+ clowns + multiple enemy types + 16 levels to master + Graphics are coherent and colourful + atmospheric background music + good controls + suitable price/performance ratio + Achievements
cons
- no long-term replay value
Conclusion
A fun jumping marathon awaits you in Super Clown 3: Revenge, which takes you into a colorful world.

Information / Review Deutsch
Kontra
- kein Widerspielwert auf Dauer
Fazit
In Super Clown 3: Revenge erwartet dich ein spaßiger Hüpfmarathon, welcher dich eine bunte Welt entführt. I cried. Its the usual Asset Flip experience. One level though made me question my existence. There is a level called "Platforms" and fist of all you have to wait for 20 seconds for an air ship to arrive, then 15 to get to your platform. If you die/fall off you have to repeat that.. I died quite a bit. I got pushed of the map by invisible forces, the boss of that level also killed me couple of time. Speaking of the "boss" fights. The hitboxes are a pain, often times you just don't get a hit and boom you basically dead and on that level the game locked up when I died to the boss. Probably the most unfun level I have played in any Tero Lunkka game... yet. Overall I didn't have a good time, as I said the hitboxes are your worst enemy and its annoying to start the level from the beginning because of it, some are actually quite big. If you know what you get, go ahead and buy it. If you want a platforming game and have no idea about the Dev? go and get something else.
a cute Super Mario 3D World clone. if Nintendo continues to make exclusives on its own consoles and you never see one of their titles here, then i highly recommend playing this game.
The Game: For less than two quid (£2 or approx $2) Super Clown 3 Revenge has a decent amount of varied game play to offer; starting with a 3D level map, where you select your level by walking to a target marker, of which there are sixteen levels to choose from, that take you to mainly very large open world levels and some pure platform levels, with level names like Ruined Land, Up & Spikes, Village, Egypt, Ice Capital, Trampoline in the Air, Going Up, Dark Sky Town and Old Village to name some of them. Most of the levels generally have very different designs, though I did note some used the same assets, but mainly there's something different on each of the sixteen levels you get with this game. Some are relatively easy, others are absurdly difficult. The main aim on most of the levels is to find a particular character; for example, a sorcerer or fast zombie and destroy it to remove a gate, that then enables you to retrieve a star to complete the level. Some levels require you to dispatch more than one boss and open more than one gate. Inter-dispersed amongst the environments are cute looking creatures, zombies and cannons that shoot out more creatures when you stand close to the cannon. Watch out for this cannon as it tracks your movement when nearby and will shoot multiple enemies at you. If you are touched by any denizen of any level, you lose one of your three lives (indicated in the top right comer of the game screen). Thankfully you can pick up extra lives on most levels if you lose any (and if you play platformers like me, you'll need them). However, you can only add extra lives if you've already lost one or two and only to a maximum of three. If you lose all three lives you start the same level again with all previously killed enemies recovered. You can select to play the game in full screen or windowed mode. It defaults to full screen when restarting the game. Most levels include a short explanation of the aim by walking to a nearby signpost and pressing E. To kill a zombie or one of the cute looking creatures, you have to jump on top of them. There is a ground pound action to aid you in this and can be carried out while in the air by pressing the X key. Movement as usual is accomplished using the WASD or arrow keys and jumping using the space bar. You can also turn your viewpoint using the mouse's X and Y axis. You character will then move in the direction you've moved your viewpoint to. To pause the game press P; this also enables you to return to the level screen at any time during an active level or to the main menu where you can exit the game. There are 32 achievements to earn, two for each level; the first is basically given away as you only have to enter the level for the first time; however, the second may not be as easy because you have to complete the level to earn it. Personally I found the pure platforming levels such as the rotating platforms and the Holy lot of Platforms very difficult as you have to jump at the right time and be oriented correctly as well. Bugs and Glitches: There are a few minor bugs such as being unable to remove the Controls tutorial from the screen (it's supposed to disappear by pressing the H key), though it doesn't interfere with game play. I also found that some of the more open world levels had low frame rate drops occasionally when near the periphery of the world. When playing the Ice Capital level, when I died, the game would freeze instead of reverting to the start of the level. I would then have to use the Alt+F4 keys to close the game because the pause menu wasn't working at this point. Conclusion: Overall a decent platformer, especially for the price, with some varied levels to beat. I'm not very good with platformers and found some of the pure platforming levels really hard (still haven't beaten them despite trying loads of times). I'd say, this is an ideal coffee/tea-break game. Each of the open world levels should easily take up a 20 to 30 minute break session (unless you are an expert at platform games or have very nimble fingers). Sadly, my fingers are like sausages and very slow to react, coupled with a super sensitive keyboard (Razer Black widow Ultimate Stealth), I'm constantly catching the wrong keys and making a mess of my movements. Often when trying to jump on an enemy to dispatch him/her/it I make a complete hash of it and die miserably. That said, if you love platformers and aren't a graphic snob, then this game is worth buying. Some would call this an asset flip due to the assets coming from one of the easy to use game engines, but I find the term being used flippantly far too often these days. It may use assets that can be bought as part of a game engine that others also use, but the main point is that the levels are original and work. Game play - 8 Graphic - 6 (pretty basic, but okay) Sound - 7 (typical arcade music = most levels have a different tune) Re-playability - 7.5 Challenge - (depending on the level) 6 to 9 Suggestions to the Developer: 1) ... Adding the P for Pause and the movement keys to the control tutorial and fixing the H key press bug 2) ... Add an introduction/help screen that explains the game in more depth. 4) ... Add more character skins for the player to choose from. 5) ... If possible add the ability to create profiles and enable scores for how fast you completed the level, the number of enemies killed, lose points for losing lives etc and include a high score table to give the game more re-playability. 6) ... Include the ability to reassign key bindings. I did find using a combination of the movement keys together with the jump and ground pound keys quite difficult at times. With the above suggestions implemented, I'd say the game would be worth more than it presently sells for.
Would you like to know if this game is fun? No, it’s not. I didn’t even play it, except for the first 3 minutes where you immediately understand that this garbage wouldn’t be worth even consider if it were free. But the purchase of this title to theme of CLOWN SALTERINO SALTIMBANCO is THE WORTHY REPRESENTATION OF THE FIGURE OF THE CLOWN The clown 🤡🤡🤡 is usually for many individuals a figure amorphous, disturbing, ambiguous and false and not reassuring at all. On Steam, the clown award is often to denigrate, contest, tease, give dislike Well, after this premise, I just wanted to dedicate this review of nothing, the author of the numerous Clown awards he dedicated to me, a few hundred. Well of course and clearly precisely, with the clown figure should be accustomed, considering the ability to handle a priori the clown figure. You should also know, that the one who has given me dozens and dozens of prizes is a moral seeker of the choices of purchase or gameplay of various users on this platform. And it judges judges, from the top of its hiding behind the keyboard, relegating and judging extremely negatively all those who do not depend on its lips or its tastes, denouncing all others as unrecommendable on steam. Instead, the subject in question, wants to represent himself as normal, spamming and stalking over 150 clown awards to the next. 😂😂😂 As for the game, it is trash lowest, but since the title has no fault on the diatribe with user that I would like to thank him affectionately, I leave a positive like regardless of this platform Dear friend fritz I wish I could meet you in real...😎🤡💑💑💑

Super Clown 3: Revenge - to platformowa giereczka 3d w której grając klaunem przechodzimy plansze.
