Eons ago, SUPER 56 was banned by the Government of Pain and all copies were buried in the Samsara Desert. Cartridges have now been spotted in independent gaming stores throughout Hell. Roommates Kronos and Brones secured their own copy of the game and challenged their neighbor to a high-scoring bet. But, it turns out they're pretty bad at video games. It’s up to you to achieve an S Rank and shut the pesky neighbor up once and for all.

Well it could have been fun. Sadly this game freezes for absolutely no reason literally all the time, in the minigames, in the menu, in the leaderboard. Having to force close the game every 5 minutes took me out of it.

A fun and quirky WarioWare-like. It consists of 56 minigames, all played by using only the A button. There is a story that you advance through by racking up XP from the minigames. The story is made up of a string of "cutscenes", which are just goofy conversations between the horroresque characters, with a heavy focus on high school like humor. I enjoyed it, but it might not be for everyone. The minigames themselves offer a good deal of variety and pack some humor; I'm not sure if I would call them genre-bending, tho. Also, a few of the games just aren't that interesting; the "skip the dialouge" minigame has been mentioned in another review. Some minigames are very rough once you reach the higher speeds and feel like a game ender (that might just be a skill issue). Most games are fairly straightforward and fun to master, tho. Game got me hooked enough to finish the story and even go for a good spot on the leaderboards, and I'm sure I'm goin to try the daily runs a couple more times, even though the daily leaderboards are pretty empty most days. If you're big into WarioWare games, this could be worth it full price. Easy steal on sale, even if you're new to the genre it will offer you at least one or two goofy and fun sessions.

Funny game with retro type graphics. Sounds are very well done, but I can see that certain sound effects could get annoying over time. Just pressing the A-button may sound easy, but can get difficult with certain minigames.
fever dream arcade collection. best enjoyed with drunken friends getting competitive. made my character a fish with female japanese voice. "wake up and smell the horses."
