Parkour game set in fictional cartoon city. Controls are ok, you can wall run and slide so movement is generally swift and fluent. You will be climbing your way up and getting from rooftop to rooftop for the most part. Story is a bit long and you gonna hear dialogs all the time. Game feels kinda buggy though - don't leave it paused for too long or prepare for reset showing you some gameplay footage. Music will put you to sleep easily. Voice acting could've been better. Rather short and can be completed in half an hour. If you like masterpieces like Mirror's Edge, this game might be to your liking but fair warning it's not very polished and feels more like a demo. First of all: its free, so of course it is worth at least trying. Now onto a real review: Oh boy, where do I start? From the trailer alone Sunline seems like a simple free-runner with an interesting art style, and that's pretty much what the game is. The controls are easy enough to use. My major gripes here are that wall running is hard to pull off effectively and it is difficult to gain lots of speed, leaving me walking everywhere, which isn't very exciting. The art style is interesting, and is pretty nice to look at. It never hurt my eyes playing and I quite enjoy this aspect of the game. The music is fitting, no complaints here either. The voice acting is okay, the main characters have pleasant voices, but the lack emotion when some of the game's more tense scenes are happening. Speaking of the story, it's nothing special. There is a big storm coming and you have to climb some buildings to flick some switches. Not the most interesting thing in the world. The story gets completely overshadowed by the world of Sunline, which is actually really neat. Sunline takes place in Elyria, a solarpunk city flowing with greenery and encased in a massive dome. Sunline is set in presumably the far future, with Elyria being built 222 years ago and you having a flying robot companion (Who is the best character in this game). As for actual gameplay, its... alright. The first level serves as a simple tutorial. The second and third levels are big courses around the city. The fourth level is an enclosed area with some pipes and fans. And the last level is a huge tower with the ending cut scene at the top. The first three levels are great and I don't mind them, however the same can't be said about the last two. The fourth level is plain boring, there's nothing interesting going on here, and then fans are easy to get softlocked in. The fifth level, while a great spectacle, is a generic "tower but if you mess up you fall to the bottom and have to start over" level. And finally, the best and worst part of this game: Sunline is completely broken. Pause while you're jumping, you won't stop going up! Throw yourself against a corner, enjoy going out of bounds! Sandwich your character between two objects, you'll shoot out at light speed! Some walls and ceilings just don't have collisions, pausing is a complete mess, the final cutscene has never worked for me: this game is filled with bugs you can exploit, and honestly? That's why I like it. It's so fun to do unintended crap that breaks the game. I love speedrunning Sunline, and that's my best reason for you to try it out.
so epic! salty robot
I sobbed so hard when robot died, i fell off my chair in awe how connected i am to this game, i have gotten a job and changed my whole life. little brown robot saved my life, in game and in real life. Gamers, play the game. 10/10
This game, although unique, is not without flaw. Some improvements which need to be made, in order of complexity:

Ezra’s dialogue can be hard to understand at times. An easy fix is to add subtitles.
Fall damage should be implemented alongside the already present deathplanes. The game has a checkpoint system, so this will just eliminate any unnecessary backtracking.
Vocal clips are trigger-based instead of checkpoint-based, so you could accidentally replay an audio clip by walking past the same spot multiple times.
Settings only change at the start of the next level; I.e. if you disable camera animations at any point during the tutorial, they will remain active until level 1.
Movement doesn’t feel super smooth, especially in regards to climbing over objects.
I find that a lot of these smaller studios have a few aspects they excel in. This studio in particular has some pretty solid voice acting and a good grasp on writing fundamentals. That said, I was surprised to find that the ending was quite abrupt. What should’ve been a somewhat emotional moment was immediately followed up by a single line of dialogue indicating that you’ve completed the game’s primary objective before you’re instantly booted back to the menu. The Victorian-inspired art-deco architecture is interesting, and I’d like to see more of it replacing the monotonal planes which currently make up much of the environment. Adding this extra detail will also eliminate the need for the post-processing filter. I understand that it was most likely added to try and add some quick detail, but in my opinion, it just makes the game seem uglier than it should be and draws more attention to said lack of detail. I wanted to get a better look at Ana’s playermodel and, quite frankly, was curious whether or not it was a pre-made asset, however I wasn’t able to find any way of opening the file after I ripped it short of redownloading Unity (Which I can’t really be bothered doing), so unfortunately I’m unable to comment on that aspect of the game. Overall, the game and studio both have some great potential, but I think this was a bit too ambitious to release as their first project. It wasn’t necessarily bad, but I think with a bit more love, it could be great.
Sunline, solarpunk şehri Elyria'da asi bir genç olan Ana'nın şehri yıkıcı bir fırtınadan kurtarmasını konu alan birinci şahıs 3D serbest koşu oyunudur.
А где Dust 2, и Mirage?
Before I played Sunline, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
