Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
The story is one of the best, the sound is also very good. The art is ok and the combat is questionable. Overall it is one of the good rpg game and the rich story make you want to play more. Recommended only on sale.
good game
Easily some of the best writing in any genre on the PC. The gameplay loop is nothing special, but progression is paced to keep you from rage quitting. The prize isn't a shiny new boat or bigger, better gun, it is unlocking stories in the uniquely creative world the authors create.

I LOVE GOING MENTAL
I think this would be a very good game if it wasn't rogue-like. If you want your game to be rogue-like you need to have fast gameplay and offer variety. Sunless Sea does none of that. I've had 3 captains so far and the gameplay is just so tedious slow and unrewarding that you want to take risks because otherwise it would take WEEKS to finish this game. You will HAVE THE SAME DIALOGUE OVER AND OVER again, because there's simply no variety. If you die you can say goodbye to most of your stuff because you need to prep A LOT just to keep some crumbles. In a rogue-like. And when you only play safe mode this game is boring as hell. Go play Dredge instead
I have never beaten a full session of this game and likely never will because it does lack a few things that I personally desire to make it a little more consistent & playable However, massive yes to recommending this to anyone who wants it. World is rich & full of a lot of oddities that keeps me coming back every now and then
this game simply has a terrible story, terrible gameplay, terrible ui, terrible everything.
On my 2nd Captain and the learning gradient works well - managed 3 trips now and made money, made friends and contacts and upgraded. Love the mythos.
terrifying
