Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Nonsensical garbage
Highly recommended. Spooky setting, cool story, and a great sense of exploration. The real meat of the game is in gradually unlocking the narrative chunks a piece at a time. So be aware that there is a lot of reading, but this is much more than flavor text. It's the main focus.

Не рекомендую. У игры очень высокий порог вхождения, очень много текста и нет русского языка даже машинного и в сети вы никогда не найдете перевода на актуальную версию игры. Смело проходите мимо.
Fallen London but actually a game with reading instead of a book.
The game has a really good concept world building and writing wise. The roleplaying is limited but there is some of it and every officer you pick up along the way has a proper quest attached to them. The mechanics, however, are painful. Mechanically it's grinding resources all around the map going back and forth, and she ship is so slow. I sped the boat up in the game files eventually on my 6th or 7th captain and every subsequent one, never looked back. Speeding up the ship is a double edged sword because fighting is much harder. So I barely did that but I couldn't take looking at the screen of the ship barely moving at all for minutes. The slowness is why I died a few times because the ship was barely moving and I switched my attention to something else and something killed me before I could react because the initial ship is very fragile. minor spoilers
The ship that you get from one story reward is the coolest looking ship in the game and I was so disappointed that it made my game harder not easier when I got it I was really looking forward to getting a new cool reward ship, pushed that quest hard in my dingy starter boat because buying a ship in London was an ass experience. And then I learnt that the quest reward ship doesn't have all the slots and so much crew. At least the hold was big enough to finish the game. The lack of the gun slot was even more disappointing when I made the gun with the engineer (another long ass difficult quest). It's really a design choice to make upgrades that you work real life days for feel like shooting yourself in the foot.
Generally, I finished the game once after many many hours and I don't know if I'm going to do it again even though I finished it without finishing my ambition. The ambitions are kinda lame and very grind focused, so when I got the text that the interaction will finish the game I went for it instantly. It's not a great rec for a game that I felt relief after finishing it instead of satisfaction and a little sadness when something you love is over. with this it was just relief, like after you've been doing something frustrating for a long time, the sunken cost fallacy is really breathing down your neck and you grind your teeth thinking: I need to see thing through somehow. The ship speed really drove me insane, mainly because it's not my job to play games and well, I wanted to play other games not just this one for months on end. And because the journal is often more confusing than helpful. I started tracking quests in a txt and that was my mistake, it should've been a spreadsheet. Because you also need to track which port offers what in terms of resources. I gave up after a while and checked shop availability on the wiki. I really don't get it why it isn't tracked in game properly. Since the ship is super slow by design why is the journal so ♥♥♥♥? Why can't you look at the map, click a port and see if it has a shop and what's in it? Since the game is so slow, the developer expects you to remember everything about your current play through, and it's also by design one of many. People have lives, it's ridiculous. It could've been an excellent game but it's just okay. Still recommend it, over not recommend it but it's a shame there's no third option between the two. Because I recommend it but only to people who are very patient, who like grinding and keeping spreadsheets. Or to people who are like me and will edit a game file without a second thought.
Timeless
One of my favorite games of all time, but definitely not something everyone will enjoy. It's very grindy, and the gameplay loop can be brutal and deeply unsatisfying. If you're someone who either a) enjoys games that like to kick you in the nuts when you're down unless you do everything perfectly, b) enjoys games that involve a lot of grinding, particularly economy-based grinding and resource management, or c), is okay with either of the above as long as they get the chance to enjoy some of the best writing I've ever seen in a video game, maybe give this game a shot.
idk i just didn't like it sorry
