Sun Breed

So. You play as a half-vampire trying to solve a case that might have bearings on your past. While this is taking place, you also try to balance your relationship with your four sisters. Two from your father's (vampire) side, and two from your mother's (human). Along the way, you can begin a sexual relationship with your human sisters (there is an option where you are already in a love relationship with the other two; think the opportunity for starting one during the storyline with them as well was missed). This is not really frowned upon in vampire society (encouraged even). Decent enough.

Really liked the story played both run thrus at once to see the different choices, wish it was alot longer but it was a great game an kept me interested.

I will have to say, this one impressed me. First and foremost it is a complete game. No early access, nor having to do Pateron support to get access 6 months before the steam release. Renders are good and animations are decent. The story is not uber compelling, yet the story kept me engaged. I was lucky to get this on a half off sale but this one I would recommend at the 15 dollar price point.

didn't like the game for the first half but it got good, so i'm changing my review UI/text bar is kinda annoying in how it's trying hard to look like some Dracula/vampiric/Noridic or Valentine design... there's almost no H content in the first half of the game... so be patient, unlike me. choices are straight forward but kinda silly, because it's not explained what the Chill/Paragon choices do compared to the Renegade/Power choices... so i have no idea what story i am getting as i choose chill 9 times outta 10... i guess i'm playing a vampire ...who wants to be a Eunuch or something. i mean the story isn't terrible but he does talk to himself a lot about not wanting to lose control, which makes the story so forgetful that i can't even remember some scenes... i remember hearing the words, but my mind is gone, another grip with the story is this MC is all over the place, is he an agent for order or trying to cure himself or is he trying to become a new overlord, like make up your mind. it takes a while to get into what traumatized the MC...as a full picture (which gave me deja vu: reminds me of Dream Land.. its not great) i honestly find myself tuning this out... (only for the beginning of the game) thinking about what else i need to do today, that's not capitvating story telling. + S-Voicing and A-Forward works at the same time, that's a big PLUS i do not enjoy Najah's yellow eyes for the first half of the game, they look bland and lazy in how they are done, but it gets better after you notice a weird Winged Line in her eyes, they turned her eyes more into cat eyes... and it just fits... her profile of being a warrior EDIT: okay 7.4 is the final score as i was only 39% through the game when i made my review...the writing got good in the 2nd half and it was paced well enough to get you to care so i was a bit harsh (because there was only 2 or 3 scenes in the first 30% of the game), Anyways there's only 2 endings it seems (i wish there were 3 endings, because there are 3 or 4 extra ladies who would have been great for the Harem) - there is a weird bug that has you expose someone but the person is already out of the picture, so that's a seriously odd flaw in the game, i saw it in the Renegade playthru. obviously, i hinted the H scenes increase a lot more after the 50% mark.

It has a good story. Although some parts get boring and tedious. A lot of spelling and grammar mistakes. Makes some parts hard to read or figure out what they're trying to say. But I just skipped over those without taking much out of the story. They really need to fix it though. The artistry is a little wonky though. Stuff gets claymation CGI ugly half the time. The girls really need facial makeovers. They're mostly horse-faced ugly throughout the whole story. But at least they look feminine, unlike the masculine crap I've seen. The MC's skin tone changes a lot throughout this. Is he tanned, light skinned, white, latino, or what? Hard to tell with how many times his skin tone changes. Not the best of a 2024 release, but not the worst either. But it is the better one out of all this Dev has released. But I can't recommend it. The ugly faces, the spelling and grammar, and the claymation crap, all keep me from saying it's good enough for the recommendation.

While vampires are not really my "thing," I enjoyed this story. You play as a human/vampire halfbreed, working in law enforcement. In this setting vampires, while superior to humans in every way acknowledge that a concerted effort by the puny humans would end them...and so, cooperation kinda, sorta. I very much enjoyed the touch of India in the Chakrabarti Clan. Fareeda, the clan leader...wow! A fun murder mystery and an interesting take on vampires. Solid CG, music, plot and character dialogue. SuperWriter Games has a hit with this release!

Not the worst thing I've every read, but it's kind of rough. Art is ok, writing is meh, and the story isn't very interesting.
