Summerland is a first-person narrative game about morality and the afterlife. You take control of Matthew, a detective reliving the events of his past, being questioned on his morals along the way. In every door lies another memory, and every memory unlocks another door.

Summerland is a short, narrative-driven exploration game about death, memory, and letting go. You play as a soul revisiting key moments from life, moving through abstract, dreamlike spaces while a personal story slowly unfolds. It’s very calm and reflective, with almost no traditional gameplay. What makes it work is the writing and the emotional tone — it feels intimate, melancholic, and quietly thoughtful. It’s the kind of experience you play in one sitting, not to be challenged, but to absorb a story and the feelings that come with it.
Very interesting game - almost a shame that this picture was chosen as wallpaper of the game, not first case. Good writing, interesting dialogues. I am excited to see the end of the story.

I felt connected to the main character.
The moral choices are a great story progresion. such a good game to play.
