Subnautica 2

Wir waren nach ca. 10 h beim Ende der Story. Es war bis dahin OK, keine technischen Mängel. Uns fehlte jedoch definitiv die Atmosphäre vom ersten Teil. Die musikalische Begleitung war wesentlich schwächer. Insgesamt war das Setting wenig furchteinflößend. Genial war die gr0ße Venus Fliegenfalle und der Titan, welcher einen aus der Spielgrenzen zurück treibt. Aber das war es leider auch schon an WOW Momenten. Meine klare Empfehlung: Wartet bis 1.0, sonst ist das Spiel vorab verbrannt und ihr packt es nicht mehr an. Zudem lohnt der Inhalt aktuell noch nicht.

Aquariums are not currently available in the way they are in the base game. Pretty much ruined my base trying to build one with a highly recommended tutorial. Additionally, since the scroll wheel function is not added to the refund base's inventory storage, I have to drop every single item it refunded onto the ground until I get to what I need because of one misplaced room structure. This is unintuitive.

If you came to expect another Sub Zero but without all the bs that made Sub Zero just unfun, sadly Subnautica 2 isn't that kind of game. Weird EULA ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, ChatGPT-written narration, mostly just reskinned Subnautica 1 with many beloved features just thrown away (can't kill fish, no caves, etc...).

Its a good game so far but its unfinished and who knows when it will be done or how much they will even add so until its fully released I just cant reccomend buying it. Ill update my review when the game is fully released.

Gorgeous game! Unfortunately it falls short of the gold standard Unknown Worlds itself established in the survival genre. The game requires a higher end system to run. The music is bland and generic for a sci-fi game. As of the writing of this review, there is no way to protect yourself from the game's creatures. The worst of all is Unknown World's treatment of its customers, preferring to prioritize politics and demonize long-time fans over providing high quality goods and services anyone can enjoy. 6/10.
