Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my gameplay & initial impressions here: https://youtu.be/leIPAJqsXEI Yeah, I know I don't have much time in the game. At the same time, I did experience everything this game has to offer. Basically you can be done with the game in about 30 minutes. However, it does have a sort of sandbox mode where the game just keeps putting out dress up real-life (VR) dolls for you to play with. You can try different combinations of dresses, paints, & accessories. Unfortunately, there aren't many dresses as there are only six in total. There aren't many colors either. There's a few paint designs such as dinosaurs, clouds, or french fries, etc, along with some different paint patterns such as stripes, plaid, checkerboards, etc. Lastly, you can put on some accessories such as shoes, earrings, neck pieces, wings, glasses, or funny head gear. It's a nice little game for kids or kids at heart. Is the game worth $9.99 USD? Probably not. I think it should have been priced at $4.99 given the amount of content. However, I had fun. The VR interactions are very simple point & click or grab the paint and just spread it on the dress or see the sticker & just spray it on. Grab the accessory and put it on the model. The graphics are cute. The music is not. There are no settings whatsoever and the game just throws you into the gameplay. The game is family friendly. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting 90 fps. I did experience a bug where the shoe that was shown to give to the model wasn't available. You can play seated or standing, but there is no height adjustment so it is definitely played better standing as you'll have to reach up and down. Overall, I enjoyed it. However, there isn't much here. I'll give it a tepid recommendation. Rate 6/10. I think some may enjoy this more than I did. I think I am being maybe too generous with my score. This needs to be priced lower is my biggest complaint.
If you enjoyed my review, please consider joining my Steam Curator Group. Witzige Idee.
