About
Strings Theory is a wacky puzzle / arcade game where you control the particles of life itself!
Inspired by the romantic side of physics, we take you on an epic journey into the heart of Anomaly. Control three unlikely heroes with their own personalities and skills. Beat more than 50 brain-twisting levels. Save the microcosm from a deadly threat!
"Oh, what a beautiful mystery this land is. How inorganic." - Isaac, the smart string
Find yourself in a strange land. It's the Anomaly, where forces unknown converge. Swap between your strings and use their unique skills to avoid the dangers. Collect the quanta of energy, and reach the wormhole to the next level.
Play with friends! Strings Theory supports up to 3-player local co-op. Enjoy a mode where every player controls a different string in front of a single screen. There's a twist: only one string can move at any given time, so you have to talk about your strategy and solve the puzzles together!
Deatomizers that can evaporate you in an instant. Trapdoors to the void of space. Gravitiles that change gravity. The ever-moving Kinetiles, and more.
You're going to need brains to navigate such a treacherous space. A bit of good old arcade timing won't hurt either.
Telly, Isaac, and the Twins used to be your everyday strings. Sucked into the Anomaly, they're our only hope to stop the impending doom.
Telly is a hot-headed wannabe hero. What he lacks in brains, he makes up for in strength. Use him to push obstacles out of your way.
Isaac is a mysterious chap with a keen interest in physics. Make him phase through floors to reach unreachable places.
Twins, or Norm and Sal, are like the poles of a magnet. Separate them, and they'll be more than happy to conjoin.
Can this odd bunch get together and save the world? Yes, but only if you help them!

great puzzle game!
Fajna gra logiczna, przyjemna oprawa wizualna, z kazdą rundą wyzwanie jest trudniejsze. Polecam!
Pretty fun logic game with cool visuals and audio! I really enjoyed the world uniqueness and funny dialogues between our protagonists! Cool idea for an indie game, really unique
After finishing the main story I can tell you that game is much deeper than its looks in the first place. The story ending gave me just a hunger for more! ^_^ (DLC? - one preorder for me please) The game is so unique because of the puzzle genre but also the strong arcade elements. Every level has a different approach to design and puzzles, but you will discover this inception after level 15 - then the real fun begins. The style, graphic, music, heroes, even story (yes, there are many fun dialogues and stories in this title - btw. sense of humour is great!) is so original. Everything is one of its kind really - with is great of course. I was very curious how the gameplay with the controller will look like in isometric view, but the movement is so polished and good calibrated. It doesn't matter if you play cross or corner analogue style movement, gameplay fits perfectly with the gamepad. Also, the local co-op is a very interesting type of fun because you switch Strings in real-time - so demanding for strong communication when you play with an extra player. (with the first approach my fiance didn't know what is happening on the screen but 15 minutes later we were counting in seconds when we will have a switch to beat the best time ;)) I can write a lot about all details but it will be much easier to just try the game on your own. In summary, the game surprises me VERY positively. I was thinking it will be a simple puzzler with just a few hours of challenges (also the price hint that mindset), but the Strings Theory title has more content that is just fun, unique and polished. I can easily recommend it to not only puzzle lovers, but also for all/casual players because of its arcade elements.
oh man! this is so cool. Really fresh and enjoyable logic game. Funny dialogues and narratives :) im curious co-op mode here... It was worth to wait!
Cute yet challenging puzzle game with a nice learning curve. Charming little story enriched with scientific facts. Varied characters and puzzles.
The first two levels start off leisurely and the real game starts at level three. As I thought that nothing would surprise me and I figured out what is what on a two-dimensional board then the option to move underneath appeared. You can only get there with one of the little fellows. Other characters have differnt abilities, different clever power and they all help each other - one can knock over obstacles, the twins change directions and so on. The "Strings theory" is very fun to play, but it also requires a little bit of brain power :). A great game for longer sessions - I just have finished after 2 hours there, but it is also great for a coffee break. If you think you are good at solving logical puzzles and you like to explore interesting and unconventional worlds, you will also have fun with this game. I definitely recommend to spend some time with this game - it's fun.
6/10 Not good. When it has a big discount or it is in a bundle then maybe get it.
I love puzzle games, like Baba is You. This one is not that challenging, but beautiful and relaxing.
The game is very nice to play and is now turning to be my favourite anti-stress item. All the graphic elements are extremely cute making the game a fun to play. I especially liked the sounds and music. The music is very nice to listen to and thus also makes the game very pleasant to play. Solving the game challenges with all the cuteness factor in its graphics and sound put together makes it very relaxing and challenging at the same time. You can have very much fun playing it.
