About
Welcome to New Frankfurt, big dog! In STREET DOG LEGEND, you can manage your very own hot dog cart! But like it or not, something strange is brewing in the city... and you may stumble right into the middle of it.
Art style inspired by flash games from the 2000s
Manage the street cart your way: Buy upgrades, set up shop at busier locations, and franchise to maximize cash; or just keep things simple - it's up to you!
Make life-or-death decisions in a city-wide conflict between the government and its... er... "adversaries."
Discover secrets, play minigames on your laptop, and forge your own path as a street dog legend!
Nothing beats a day slinging dogs. Fast and high-quality orders served to customers will earn you LOTS of money and - more importantly - fill that empty hole in your heart.
At your apartment, spend your hard-earned cash on cart upgrades and location permits so you can discover new locations and make even MORE money!
Unfortunately, you're not the ultimate authority on hot dogs. Manage the expectations of city officials (and other interested parties), cooperate or disobey, and choose your own path.
All things must come to an end, and you can decide how. Will you be forgotten just like any other average joe, or will you go down in history as a legend? Which path will you choose?

I bought this game expecting a little nostalgic food cart simulator to pass the time, but instead, I got a sprawling culinary epic with multiple branch paths and endings! For the price of a cheap burrito in real life, you get a massive amount of content. One minute you’re upgrading your cart to realize the perfect hotdog, and the next you’re unlocking completely unhinged storylines and endings you didn't see coming. The progression loop is fun and rewarding, and the humor genuinely slaps. It’s an absolute steal on sale AND regular price! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣀⣠⣤⡶⠾⠟⠛⠛⣿⣿⣿⣿⠿⣶⠾⠿⠶⢶⣤⣀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣠⣤⡶⠟⠛⠉⠀⠀⢀⣀⣀⣼⢁⣠⠽⢷⡀⠙⢦⡀⠀⠀⠈⠻⣧⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣀⣤⡾⠟⠋⠁⢀⣀⣀⣴⠶⠤⣿⠟⠋⠉⠙⠧⣄⠀⠙⣦⠀⢳⠀⠀⠀⠀⢹⣧ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢀⣠⣤⡶⠟⠋⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⢸⠁⠀⢀⣠⠶⣏⠀⢺⠛⢦⣀⠈⠓⠦⠼⠀⣸⠆⠀⠀⠀⢸⣿ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢀⣀⣠⣴⡶⠿⠛⠉⠁⠀⠀⠀⣀⣀⣰⣫⠿⠛⠓⠺⣏⠀⠀⠸⡄⠘⡆⠀⠉⠳⠤⣤⡤⣶⠛⠓⠖⠊⠉⣾⡇ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣀⣠⣴⡶⠿⠛⠋⠉⠀⠀⠀⠀⣤⠤⠤⣤⠞⠁⢀⣠⡇⠀⡖⠲⡄⠈⢧⡀⠀⡇⠀⡇⠀⠀⠀⣀⣀⣀⡟⢀⣤⢤⣀⠀⠻⣷ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣀⣠⣤⡶⠾⠛⠋⠉⠀⠀⣠⡤⠤⣤⣀⡤⠤⣼⡧⠤⠤⣤⡤⠞⠋⠈⡇⠀⣧⠀⠙⢦⡀⠉⠛⠁⣰⣃⡀⢀⡞⠁⠈⣩⠿⠉⠀⠀⠙⣦⣾⠏ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣀⣠⣴⠾⠟⠛⠉⠁⠀⠀⠀⢀⣤⣀⣰⠏⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣰⠃⢠⣤⣄⠈⠳⣄⠀⠀⡃⠀⢸⠀⠀⠀⠉⠓⠒⢚⡟⠉⠉⠉⢀⣼⠛⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣿⠁⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣠⣴⠿⠋⠉⠀⠀⣰⠒⢦⣄⣠⠴⠴⠋⠀⣸⠟⠉⠓⠶⣶⠚⠉⢹⠀⠸⡇⠈⠳⣄⠈⠙⠚⠁⣠⠟⠦⣄⣀⡴⠒⠒⠚⠀⢠⠞⠉⠉⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣰⡟⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⢰⣿⠁⠀⣴⠶⠤⠴⠃⣠⠖⠛⠲⣤⡤⠤⢾⠇⠀⡟⢳⡀⠙⣆⠀⠈⡆⠀⣇⠀⠀⠈⠙⠒⢲⡞⠁⠀⠀⠀⠉⣠⠖⠛⠉⠉⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣴⡿⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⢰⡿⣿⠷⢾⣥⠤⠤⠖⢺⠃⢠⡶⡄⠘⢧⠀⠈⡇⠀⣇⠀⠳⡄⠈⠳⠤⠇⠀⡟⠀⠀⢀⡀⢀⡞⠀⢀⡴⠛⠛⠋⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢠⣾⠟⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⢀⣠⣿⠟⠻⢤⡀⠙⣆⠀⠀⣸⠀⢸⠀⠹⡄⠈⢧⣀⡇⠀⣿⣀⣀⠙⠲⠤⣠⣤⣾⡁⢀⡴⢋⣉⣉⣀⣠⠏⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢀⣴⠿⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⢀⣾⠋⠀⠀⠀⠀⢳⡀⠘⣇⠀⡾⠀⢸⠀⠀⠹⣆⡀⠉⢀⣴⠟⠁⠈⠙⠓⠒⠋⠁⠀⠉⢉⡴⠋⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢀⣠⣶⠟⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⣾⠇⢀⡄⠀⠀⠀⠀⢳⣄⠈⠛⠃⢀⡞⠀⠀⠀⠈⠉⣉⣩⠏⠀⢀⣤⣄⡀⠀⣠⠖⠒⠉⠉⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣠⣴⠿⠋⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⣿⣀⠸⣤⠄⠀⠀⠀⠀⠙⠓⠦⢴⡿⠛⠉⠙⠓⠒⠚⣁⣀⣀⡴⠋⠀⠀⠉⠉⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢀⣤⡶⠟⠋⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⢻⣇⢰⡙⠓⠀⠀⣴⠋⠙⠒⠶⠋⡴⠒⠦⣄⣠⡴⠋⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢀⣠⣴⠾⠛⠉⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠈⢿⣦⡁⠀⠀⠀⠸⡆⢀⡴⠒⠛⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣀⣤⣴⠾⠛⠉⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠙⠻⢷⣦⣤⣤⡟⣼⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣀⣠⣴⡶⠟⠛⠉⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠈⠹⢷⣾⣄⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢀⣀⣤⣴⠶⠾⠛⠋⠉⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠈⣻⢷⣦⣤⣀⣀⣀⣀⣀⣀⣀⣤⣤⣴⣶⠾⠟⠛⠉⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I like making the hot dogs, but suddenly I'm a professional assassin? What even is this game. Great that's what.
Despite its look, this game is actually a pretty solid cooking management sim for its price. I can tell right away that there was a lot of love put into this game with its features and comedic story. The only issue I have is that if you're trying to collect all achievements, everything can get fairly repetitive and drawn-out. It doesn't feel exactly chaotic enough to warrant 30-level replayability. From what I know about cooking sims, there's a fair deal of action that stems from serving multiple customers at once, and I think this is something the game could have used to really highlight its main gameplay and warrant such dedication to 100% completion. If you're still looking for a single run or two, though, this game is pretty good! I'd say it's well worth the money, and you should try it.
Genuinely such a banger game, I absolutely look forward to more from you guys !!!!
This game is a perfect implementation of a satisfying game loop imo - it's not giving you unlimited hours, but there's replayability with a genuinely fun story. Priced correctly. Motivated to 100% this.
This game is incredibly amazing and it genuinely surprised me. I first learned about the game from a ytbr named katz, and at a first glance it amazed me how full of love and details it was. When I first got it I was crazy about it and I was so excited to play it since it looked really damn interesting, and It never dissapointed me, not even once. I give this a 10/10 for its amazing gameplay and storyline alone, If I could, I would give it a 100000 for the multiple endings. I'm really grateful for this game since it makes me super excited to finish all of the routes, since that is something that rarely ever happens. Thank you. Love from Mexico <<33
Street Dog Legend is a quirky business simulation game developed and published by monthbug that transforms the simple act of selling hot dogs into an entertaining blend of management gameplay, humor, and narrative-driven decision-making. Rather than focusing solely on cooking mechanics, the game builds an entire experience around the daily struggles and ambitions of a street vendor trying to thrive in the bustling city of New Frankfurt. Its retro-inspired presentation immediately evokes the charm of classic browser and Flash-era games, creating a nostalgic atmosphere that feels both familiar and refreshingly distinct in today's indie market. The core gameplay revolves around operating and expanding a hot dog stand, balancing customer satisfaction, inventory management, and financial growth. Players spend their days preparing food, serving customers efficiently, and earning profits that can be reinvested into upgrades and improvements. While the concept sounds straightforward, Street Dog Legend gradually introduces more complexity through progression systems and branching opportunities that encourage experimentation. The sense of growth is satisfying, as every successful business decision contributes to transforming a modest food cart into a more profitable enterprise. One of the game's most interesting features is its emphasis on player choice. The descriptions highlight multiple endings and different paths that can significantly alter the course of the story. Instead of simply chasing higher profits, players are encouraged to make decisions that shape their character's future and influence the world around them. This narrative element helps distinguish the game from many management simulators that often focus exclusively on numbers and optimization. The possibility of discovering different outcomes adds replay value and gives players reasons to revisit the experience after completing a playthrough. The game's setting also deserves recognition. New Frankfurt serves as more than just a backdrop for selling food; it functions as a stage for humorous interactions, unusual situations, and memorable encounters. The writing embraces a lighthearted tone, often poking fun at business culture and everyday urban life. This comedic approach keeps the experience engaging and prevents the routine of running a food stand from becoming repetitive. The combination of satire and simulation creates a unique identity that helps the game stand out among indie releases. Visually, Street Dog Legend intentionally adopts a low-fi aesthetic inspired by older internet-era games. While players seeking cutting-edge graphics may not find much to admire technically, the art direction succeeds because it aligns perfectly with the game's personality. The presentation feels authentic rather than outdated, reinforcing the nostalgic charm that the developer clearly intended. The soundtrack and overall atmosphere further support this retro identity, creating an experience that feels cohesive from start to finish. The management systems are accessible enough for newcomers while still offering enough depth to remain entertaining. Upgrades, resource management, and customer interactions provide a steady stream of objectives without overwhelming the player. The game understands its scope and focuses on delivering an enjoyable loop rather than overcomplicating its mechanics. This balance makes it easy to pick up and play while still rewarding players who invest time into mastering its systems and exploring alternative outcomes. Street Dog Legend may not compete with large-scale simulation games in terms of content volume or production values, but it succeeds through creativity, personality, and a clear vision. Its combination of food-cart management, branching storytelling, retro aesthetics, and comedic writing creates an experience that feels genuinely unique. Players who enjoy indie simulations, humorous narratives, and games that embrace unconventional ideas will likely find plenty to appreciate here. Overall, Street Dog Legend is a charming and imaginative management game that turns a simple street-food business into an engaging adventure filled with choices, upgrades, and memorable moments. Its nostalgic presentation and emphasis on multiple endings give it a distinctive appeal that helps it rise above many similarly themed indie titles. While its intentionally simple visuals and niche style may not appeal to everyone, those willing to embrace its quirky personality will discover a surprisingly enjoyable and rewarding experience. Rating: 8/10
The game is very fun to play. It has mystery and fun mini games (lost all my cash in black jack). The npcs are all weird and fun to talk to. All in all a fun time.
