its the longest naughty game i have ever played ever, its got a ton of content more than i thought and that is saying alot. however i enjoyed the story it is an amazing plot of cloak and dagger . gotta say its a great space ride!!
Upon trying to write my full thoughts about this game, I ran out of room- something I've never done before here. So I think I'll just give a simple rating and then readers can decide if they want to continue- Character models/renders: 7-10 some characters just straight up look better than others, but for the most part, they're all attractive; their models also improve later in the story (particularly Camila). Story/writing: 9.5 I'm enthralled with this story, and I sincerely hope it goes all the way to Elysium and beyond (this can take more than one game, I don't care) Music: 9.5 very relaxing and unobtrusive, but the sex scene music is sometimes annoying Lewd Content: 4-8.5 they start off pretty rough, but by Day 20 they're way better "Bang for your buck": 10 you get so much story and sexual content with this one; it's worth 15 bucks, easy, but if you can get it on sale, absolutely do it Now the (mostly) full review- At the time of writing this, I've just completed Day 20 on my second playthrough, "Route B", if you will. This means that 3 days ago, we were just given notice of Day 21, Part 1 going live. I've yet to play that content, but I'm excited for it. However I'm also conflicted about waiting for the full Day 21 to be released before going further. It's my understanding that getting to this point has taken at least 2 or more years (revealed via in-game meta jokes). And while the second half of Day 21's release has been given a rough ETA, it's still enough to cause hesitation. I'm the type of person who would rather wait for an entire season of a show to be out before I watch it, so that I can just binge through it. And that's exactly what did/would happen for this game. I've played a lot of adult games on Steam, many of them AVNs, but there are some that weren't. I have a good handle on what a quality AVN looks like, i.e.: where the effort is put, what things are cared about, etc. There's a lot of AVNs on Steam and many of them follow the same formula and/or use the same tools. Any fan might confirm that many of the character models look "same-y", both in body type and by game engine. Stranded in Space is easily among the top 5 adult games I've ever played. Some popular standouts include titles such as Acting Lessons, Leap of Faith (my personal favorite), and Being a ♥♥♥. They're usually cited as some of the best examples of the genre. This game stands toe-to-toe with any of them. It might be lacking in certain areas comparatively- for example: it doesn't have a free-roam function or morality scale like BaD, and it isn't as emotionally wrenching as LoF. But the quality is present. Most AVNs feature MCs with the same general background, usually featuring some kind of past trauma or conflict. They tend to (or *should*) have a good amount of story hooks and/or twists to keep the player invested, assuming they're in it for more than the lewd stuff. In that regard, this game is thoroughly satisfying. Of all the AVNs I've played through, Leap of Faith is the only title for which I would say I care more about the story and characters than the sex. This game now joins that subset. There are so many facets to the story- mysterious problems for the ship, a suspected saboteur, a past occluded by amnesia, an uncertain future... I can also tell when the writer(s) of a game put any kind of research or effort into their dialogue, and into their world-building, and whether they try to make everything "plausible". And Wildman has definitely done that here. Nothing is ever presented or explained that feels like "mumbo-jumbo", glossed-over, or lazily ignored. It all comes off as "authentic". The conversations are exceptionally well-written. The banter all feels organic to each character's personality, and it's always fun to read through. With every AVN I play through, I typically think about how I myself would react or what I would say in any given situation. But with this game, I only did that in a few instances (the biggest being a choice on Day 19). It's also very funny. A lot of these games try to be humorous, but only a couple have ever made me audibly laugh. The best AVNs feature multiple story choices and branching paths which lead to various endings. This gives them solid replay value while also increasing investment in said story. Naturally implementing this is extremely taxing. In that sense, SiS is lacking, but also paradoxically refreshing. There are minor choices you can make during conversations that may affect whether you unlock a render for the gallery, but otherwise there are nine "major" story choices are presented with only two options (the the tenth occurring on Day 21, which isn't complete yet and may not even be encountered in the current content). This means that you can see all the story content in only 2 playthroughs, and you don't need to worry about making X choice at Y moment to get Z outcome. While I like that idea on paper, it also means that there are essentially two timelines, and unless the game/franchise progresses to the end of the journey and onto Elysium, it means that not everyone will be present for either continuity. So for that, I'm sad. Otherwise, it was easy to decide which options I'd take when the choices are given. With the exception of the one mentioned above that occurs on Day 19. One final note regarding Paige: As mentioned, I wrote this just after finishing both routes, and a few days after a major content update/overhaul. One of these changes involves Paige and her "early game, unrealized" form. I feel like making it too close to how she chooses to appear later in the game diminishes its impact. Her initial appearance is ..."busy", but I feel like it could've been streamlined, rather than trying to bridge the gap between both forms. Ultimately, the worst thing about her first form is the hair. If that were designed differently, I think she wouldn't be quite as harsh on the eyes. But overall I support the changes the dev is making to her. So, yes, I recommend this game. If you legit are into this genre for more than just the sexy stuff, this one is well worth your time and money.

An Amazing game. Well written captivating storyline. Beautifully rendered. One of the best I've played. Eagerly awaiting the rest of day 21
A great game with strong interactions. As a lover of this genre and a natural playtester of these games, I fully approved these hours of great enjoyment.

Someone give this dev a medal, honestly very interesting story and episode 20 possibly gives us the answer to the mystery we have all been waiting for but its not definite i think? the game has lots of animations and lovely ladies, my first playthrough took me 58 hours, so its a big story and for the price its amazing, kept me hooked the whole time, bring on episode 21!
Don't come for the hot sex, excellent story, extensive content, or beautiful art. Come for the author's ridiculous sense of humor :-) Or, i mean, you could also come for those other things I guess...
i usually say story is KING, but this is too much story, it's kinda bad as a Napgame but good as a novel.... the problem with putting too many conversations in, as well as stating the obvious over and over is that it gets boring and drags on the story for too long... combine this was Animations that really leave more to be desired.. like it's too fast or kind of looks odd at times, ive seen worse movements, but i expected more from this game, because of how good it is with dialogue. the graphics are on the good side (even if the animations really needed more work and expertise... Slow & Realistic for X scenes is best... as well as H scenes), and the models are definitely good, im sorry, not sorry that i have to give this a lower rating than i first expected... because the story was double the length of talking than i originally thought it would be.... at the longest, so it overshot... by so far that i believe women must have done all of this novel writing, lol Only Women would read all of this. 6.7 because i'm on day 17, so i got 3 days left to play (but the i dont believe the reveal is going to be a surprise)
