Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 12 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game has good idea but is pretty bare even for early access. Sailing mechanics are non existent and boring because of that and fights are again very boring. I ended up wrecking my ship on a dock and then I am just completely stranded on the second big island and nothing I can do cause it auto saved after turning in a quest so not really sure what I am supposed to do now except restart but I wont do that till there is more to this game.
first of all to all the negative reviews for a game that literaly started early access just days ago, settle down. One review complained about a bunch of mechanics without realising how to actuallu control the ship. I get along just fine. Naturally there will be bugs, of course. And they will be ironed out. Ive spent a bit of time and can say that this game holds all the cards needed to be a fine TRADING game. with minulistic combat and a huge map, with massive potential for trading, growing crops, producing goods, selling those goods, owning PORTS, and controlling fleets of ships. The sea graphics and weather is exellent. There are, naturally some bugs which need nerfing pronto, okay. Thats fine. The simple fact that this came out days ago, means that WE are doing the testing thats needed. then the devs fix any problems that WE report. Thats how that works. I personally love the combat, very easy to work out, you dont have to fight the pirates, just damage their sails and sail off, leave them behind. The fact that if you are not careful, you can be distroyed brings an element of fear, real fear, i have made it all the way to an island, loaded to the hilt, be chased by three pirates. Exilerating!!! Lots of negative reviews, from "reviewers" that either havent worked things out by themselves and need someone to hold their hand, or from people who were expecting a giant triple A combat game. Thats Not what this is. THIS is primarily a trading game. And from what i have seen its going to be huge, like, really big, AND deep. The combat is fine. its easy to turn your ship away from incoming fire, its fun, its scary, especially just starting off, frightening in fact, i love it. There ARE some bugs, looking at you wild coast innkeeper, but these have been reported and WILL be fixed asap. This game has been out early access, since just the other day. All the negative reviews can be VERY safely ignored for what they are, people who need someone to hold there hand, or people who need to go play something else. AS much as i would recomend this game now, certainly feel free to wait till it "bakes" If you love pirates, trading, easy combat, and sailing discovering the map, stormy seas, etc etc etc, Then i HIGHLY recomend this game. Congratulations DEVS your onto something special, keep up the good work...

I've enjoyed my time so far, though I agree the game is a bit slight at the moment particularly at the beginning. It's a simpler more arcadey sailing game. I gather the focus of the game is more macroeconomic, with more focus on management than in managing the minutia of piloting a ship, and I'm interested to see what that's like as I progress more. If you're looking for a sailing simulation, this is not that. I want to especially bring up the different islands' visual design as being excellent -- they each look interesting and unique, and convey very clearly what the island produces relative to the others. Piloting your ship is very simple, with all controls accessible while standing in one spot. You can deploy the sails instantaneously with a single button press (either half furled or full), and changes in speed are immediate. The turning radius is very tight, which gives the feeling of driving a go kart more than a large ship. As I said, the overall feeling is very arcadey, so this is probably a deliberate choice in terms of the game's focus. I'd love to see things like wind direction, sail plan, cargo stowing, etc matter more (they currently are not factors at all) I haven't found the docking or naval combat difficult as some other reviewers mentioned, but I haven't found them particularly enjoyable either. Managing to get on and off the ship smoothly to load cargo is the biggest chore I've encountered so far. I'm very excited to see where the game goes from here!
As a former merchant mariner, I was really looking forward to Storm Seas. I enjoy realistic pirate/sailing games, and I get that this is early access from a solo dev. I'm reviewing it with that in mind. The concept is strong, but right now, several mechanics make it more frustrating than fun. Docking damage is far too severe. In real life, gentle contact happens. Here, a few bumps can sink you. Enemy damage also feels overtuned for new players. Helm controls need work. Actions like raising or lowering sails, changing speed, dropping anchor, force you to let go of the wheel. These should be doable while remaining at the helm. Combat is exhausting rather than tactical. By the time you run from wheel to cannons, the enemy has already moved. A crew member or NPC gunner for port and starboard would help a lot. Survival meters also drop too fast. Arriving at night with no place to rest and no bed on your own ship isn't great. I really want this game to succeed. My feedback is meant to be constructive. With balancing and a few quality of life changes, it could be fantastic. But for now i cannot recommend the game, i really hope to do so in the near future. I wish you all the best in improving the game.
Merci.
Let me start off by saying I like the game. Some things dont work in the game like the wild lands the tavern keeper you cant interact with even though you are suppose to deliver to him. The developer released this and then seems kind of MIA, no interaction with questions in the forum except for on the first day of release. I understand they have a life outside of this, but I guess I would expect during the first week or two they would try to talk to people and a couple of updates to fix things. Im going negative on my review just because I feel this may have been a grab and go by the dev. I hope I'm wrong and will change this if this isnt the case. I have had to restart a few times because once i get the stuff to take to the wild lands it kind of gets me stuck since i cant deliver this stuff.
Slow, Boring. Just play merchants in SOT safer seas, you'll have more fun honestly
So far it's a great base to potentially great game. Dev's are making strides in solving base level gameplay mechanics to make this enjoyable to play. The market mechanics are pretty solid too. Once they add more islands with more products to purchase it will evolve nicely. Areas that need improvement: - Reporting bugs: A lot of early access games don't have bug report systems. Please add this or make an email available in the initial pop up when you start the game asking for reporting. - Building is still clunky and the production stuff is still needing work but the premise is really cool. - More info/control over the port/boat operators would be nice. Do they over pay for products low on qty? Do they sell when the prices are upside down? Will be a fun game to play from time to time once it's a bit more developed but I actually have hope unlike other Early Access games.
il y a beaucoup a faire du genre quand on saute dans l'eau ou n' est pas jesus. le principe est debile comme idee. je vais le racheter lorsque le jeu aura plus de contenue.
Good.
