About
Grab your pickaxe. Tighten your beard. Try not to blow up the kingdom.
Stonewards is a solo and 1-4 player co-op first-person roguelite defense game where a band of battle-ready dwarves leaves their base camp to answer distress calls from nearby dwarven kingdoms. Each mission sends you to a threatened stronghold on the edge of disaster. Your job is simple: dig fast, forge smart, and defend like your beard depends on it.
Monsters are coming. The walls are cracking. The horn is about to sound.
After each wave, rush into procedurally generated mines to gather precious metals, rare materials, and whatever shiny rocks look important enough to steal. Explore twisting tunnels, uncover hidden caves, and haul your loot back before the next attack begins.
Take too long, and your friends will be defending the kingdom one dwarf short.
And yes, they will complain about it.
A dwarf without a forge is just an angry short man with excellent facial hair.
Between waves, spend your mined resources to craft arrows, repair defenses, and unlock randomized upgrades. Stack raw strength, strange powers, tougher walls, or trust your team’s latest “brilliant” plan. Nothing could possibly go wrong.
The monsters have one goal: breach the stronghold and bring the kingdom down.
Hold the walls, cover the gates, coordinate with your crew, and use every crafted tool at your disposal. When the enemy pushes through your outer defenses, fall back, regroup, and remind them why attacking a dwarven stronghold was a terrible idea.
If the kingdom falls, the mission is over.
If you survive, drink later. Dig now.
1-4 Player Co-op & Solo - Rally the crew or go full lone-dwarf. Whether you fight alone or with up to three friends, the monsters are coming either way.
Answer the Call of the Dwarven Kingdoms - Travel from your base camp to defend nearby dwarven realms against incoming monster attacks. Each mission is a desperate stand for survival.
Mine the Mountain - When the wave ends, the clock starts. Dive into procedural mines, gather valuable resources, and get back before the next horn sounds.
Stockpile & Forge - Bring your loot back to craft arrows, repair walls, and unlock randomized roguelite upgrades that shape each run.
Hold the Line - Take your place on the walls, defend the stronghold, and stop the horde before they overwhelm the kingdom.
Dig Deep. Forge Hard. Defend Harder.

great game, lots of potential and a pretty transparent. only problem is getting money after all of your quests are done. its not a slog, per se, but it can be annoying having to play 5 entire runs just to get 250 to buy a ring. that's really the only problem though, daily quests can fix this issue no problem.
So where to Start The Game is wonderfully designed like many comments say it still need a lot of work here and there. The main gameplay loop feels good. But there are a few things that need to get added. For me i would love to see 1.:Wood rework) Wood ..., you will have SO MUCH WOOD and there is only Arrows and a potion to make with it. It spawns so many times just by digging anything. Please give us more ways to use the resource, Let us use it to repair the wall (30 for one repair) Building Signs, Latters, Trap doors, Platforms that will make Wood So much better. Maybe even Crafting defensive Structures like the Ballista and Trebuchet. 2.:) I would love to have more ways to optimize the builds. Adding Bans in your run could help with rings and yes I have the Toggle upgrade. OR give us the option to toggle EVERYTHING. 3.) AOE. OH FOR THE LOVE OF ALL WHAT IS A FIREBALL. MAKE IT AOE. Then the difference between Mage and Archer is not only the tomes and that the fireball flys slower. Last but not least. Make the healing potions heal a % of your max HP. I had a Warrior with 600 HP and 20 hp does not cut it. But with all of that. This game is great with friends. I'm eager to see where this game is going P.S: To see an Elf or Goblin in the game dressed as a Dwarf ... as an infitrator class ... could be funny xD.
Fun game that will retain a thumbs up for now. There is a significant amount of things to revise, and improve. -Needs a dedicated solo mode (other wise generally unplayble by oneself). -More quests or ways to obtain mainline currency that doesn't trap players into a long winded grind and rinse out the otherwise decent gameplay loop. -Map object Interactability needs touching up, as the castle is a bit slippery when being close to the edge. However, the current map size for each stage works, assuming there will be significantly more stages given how small each ones actually is. -Lore tomes seem to be VERY rare to locate as I have completed multiple stages with groups of four and have not found a single one. Considering a class and quest(s) are locked behind this significantly rare item, I believe there could be some revision to this. A lot of potential here, look forward to seeing it grow.
Pessimo, pessimo.... meu deus!
