Stones

Stones is a relaxing, hands-on puzzle game about placing stones to fill in patterns. Pick them up, carry them, and set them down until the image emerges.

Work through hand-made patterns, draw your own with the built-in drawing tool, or import a picture from your collection. You can also let your imagination roam free and place the stones on a blank slate.

Baskets, bowls, and workbenches give you more ways to carry and arrange stones and modify your workspace. A thrash zone lets you get rid of anything you don't need anymore. Play Classic mode with a limited supply of stones, or switch to Creative for as many of them as you like.

No timers, no scores, no pressure. Just stones.

Carry stones in your hands.

One at a time or a whole armful, however you feel like doing it. Place them down as you wish, wherever you wish. No judging, no wrong answers.

Fill in patterns made for you.

Plenty of handmade patterns across three difficulty levels. Changing stone size means you can pick a relaxed, laid-back afternoon or a properly challenging battle of patience. Either way, watch the entire thing flourish once it's done.

Some artists need an empty canvas.

No pattern, no goal, just space and stones. Whatever you end up building is precisely the point.

Bring in your own pictures.

Import an image from your computer, crop and rotate it to fit, and build a masterpiece around it. Your photos, your call.

Draw your own.

A full drawing canvas is built right in. Brush size, smoothing, eraser, undo and redo, all the basics you'd expect. Sketch something up, and it becomes a real level you can jump straight into and start filling in with stones.

Classic or Creative.

Classic limits you to whatever stones you actually pick up. Creative hands you as many as you want, so you can just go wild without worrying about running out.

Tweak the pattern itself.

A control board in the world lets you adjust a pattern's visibility or flip it around right there; no menus required.

Pick up right where you left off.

Multiple save slots for every level, difficulty, and mode. Your half-finished masterpiece will be waiting exactly as you left it.

A world you can mess with.

Carry baskets, dip stones in paint bowls, set things up on workbenches, and throw out anything you don't want anymore.

Now all you have to do is grab a stone. Put it down somewhere nice, and have fun!
