About
There is nothing so moving as the call for battle. For when the sound echoes through the plains, there is no resistance as to be made to its execution, and the action demands from the warrior the greatest of prudence, swiftness, and controlled victory. And no battle is quite as exhilarating as this....
Steel Skirmish: Reloaded is a fast-paced tank shooter played primarily in the third person. Take control of your vehicle and eliminate your foes from before you! Just remember, great victory never came easy, and exception is not to be found here.
Online matches are played on a 10-versus-10 format and can be played solo against bots, versus other players over a peer-to-peer connection, or with a mixture of the two. Both teams try to eliminate each other or take out the heavily armored base located at each team's spawn location. In the case of the supremacy mode, both teams will also aim to control the map by capturing and holding the bases scattered around the map. A fixed number of respawns are available to all players, but once they're gone, there's no way to re-enter the action. Lead your squad to victory!
Ten tanks are available for players to choose from, and not one is like another. Each vehicle has an individualized set of strengths and weaknesses, possesses unique powerups, and many are equipped with exclusive mechanics. And to match a unique vehicle, the skin editor allows for adjustable camouflage patterns and even the ability to load a custom skin from the game's files.
These tanks are playable on six maps from differing biomes and urban densities. Go from fighting on the exposed sands of the Desert of the Shadows to the dense industrial outpost known as Old Pine Fortress. And beware of those explosive barrels!
Test your skill in Survival, an endless battle against computer-controlled enemies that quickly escalates into a demanding conflict! Fight well to be rewarded with bountiful unlocks and a spot on the leaderboard.
Each match is also highly customizable, with the core rules of each match being adjustable. Bots have a more difficult setting for a true challenge. There's no reason to wait - answer the call, and experience the thrill of battle!

Reviews
This game is purely AWESOME!!! I've had the pleasure of knowing the developer for quite some time, so - just from knowing the kind of developer and creator he is - I knew the game was going to be a great time...but HOLY COW I never could have imagined how epic the final product truly would be! A genuinely awesome game, and I'm not merely saying that because Josh_007 is my friend. He knocked it out of the park here Tons to like here. A sturdy selection of tanks (each with a ton of character and unique abilities), a neat variety of maps, as well as a PvE survial mode for offline play. This game is a blast to play online (servers hold up quite well) or offline. If no other human soul is online, the bots are competitive and worth playing with. The game is undoubtedly extremely fast-paced, so that's something to keep in mind, especially considering the slower feel of most Tank games on the market. However, I feel that the lightning-quick, impulse-dependent playing style of Steel Skirmish makes it as enjoyable as it is unique. It forces you to play differently than you would in one of the extremely generic competitors. It's a NEW experience, and that, my friends, is so difficult to find in the blase, increasingly recycled world of gaming these days.
