One of the only dating sims I have ever truly enjoyed. The narrative is really wonderfully written and the romance routes are all incredibly heartfelt. I would go into detail but spoilers, so go try to date Ciel! The combat is also great. The parry feels like crack and it’s a really balanced experience for a short, sweet, adventure.
This game is really something special. From the main menu and intro cutscene alone I knew I was in for it. Cold claustrophobic metallic walls and warm glowing computer screens give way to the Seraphim mechs, huge bulking machines striding across city blocks. The combat is arcadey, but it really shines on the bosses. I felt a nice rhythm of parrying until I had a window to fire back. The other pilots are the real stars of the show, they each play off the rest of the cast to build a suspenseful atmosphere that permeates the narrative. When they confront each other there is a palpable tension. A tension that starts to melt away when you are visited in your room by one of them for the romance routes, but it never fully leaves. Shoutout Iris. Im excited to see whats next from the devs.
deep story, very cool art style, the fighting is fun too. reminds me of neon genesis evangelion. i love this game!
Cool art style and the story this far seems very interesting. If you like armored core and visual novels this is the game for you :D
Very good for a first time project. Clearly an unfinished storyline that leaves room for more, but what's here is engaging and fulfilling. The actual mech gameplay is fun in a somewhat shallow way, and lacks a lot of polish to make it truly satisfying, but considering how short the game is it doesn't get grating or annoying and stays enjoyable during its runtime. Good recommend for this price IMO.
This is my initial impressions of the game after just starting it, I will update this later once I beat it: So far, I really like the set up for the story, and the dialogue has been interesting. The characters are all very well modeled and I really like their designs. The monster and mech designs are also very good, although the monsters are not necessarily very memorable to me (this is mostly subjective). The music is also incredibly good! The movement is also incredibly good, and it pairs nicely with the special effects. I think the only improvements this game needs are improvements to the overall sound design. Better sounds for walking, attacking, ambience, and enemy attacks could turn this from a great indie game to a genuinely amazing one. As of now, the weapons need more punch behind them, something to imply their power, weight, and size, same could go for the walking. Regardless, this is an insanely good game, and more people should try it out.
