Early access doesn't mean an unfinished game that has 0 features. Bugs and overall control of this game is beyond early access. Small developers releasing their game as early access should consider finishing the game to some extend at least. I understand the game has been done without a budget or anything but this is literally unplayable. Instead of trying to make 243 playable countries make 4 and make them really "playable". EDIT: Oh and the "5 playable modes" do not exist there is just one mod to play and the thought that they might try to sell them as dlcs is haunting me. Please if you respect the players for at least one bit pull the game out and fix the issues.
Want to like this game but some of the buttons dont work and you cannot unpause the game after you pause it.

There is literally no guide to how to play this. Even the buttons you push don't steer to how the gameplay is going. The developer needs to release a tutorial or something. Now the this type of game has potential but it really needs more support from the developer. I had to get a refund. I had such high hopes for this game. Very disappointed :(
Imagine the game Realpolitiks is driving down the street at high speed when suddenly a tire blows out. The car careens into the curb, flips over, and explodes. Realpolitiks is set ablaze and thrown from the car through the window of a nearby house. The house has a gas leak. The flaming Realpolitiks ignites the gas, causing the house to explode. The game is thrown violently into the street where a pack of rabid weasels, sensing the tasty barbecue, descends upon the hapless game, tearing off its clothes and ripping its flesh. At that moment The Terminator happens by, sees the weasels and, in an effort to help, levels his shotgun and fires a blast at the pack of weasels. Realpolitiks takes the full blast and is thrown backward naked into a pile of sharp razor blades. As it thrashes about, slicing itself to ribbons, a giant magnet swings overhead, picking up the pile of razor blades (and the game), and dropping them into a junkyard auto compactor. The game is subsequently brutally crushed down to a tiny fraction of its original size. That resulting burned, torn, mutilated, crushed, non-functional, comatose remnant of a game? That's Steel Nations.
The game is totally broken Most of the buttons doesn't work. UI is complicated and hard to use. When you click on a tank, sometimes there opens a UI but either that UI is a bug or badly designed because there's no indicator or description on them. (also they don't work) I've chosen Turkey thinking it might be a balanced country but i couldn't even play. (because developers are Turkish) Camera started on Greenland, i couldn't start the time flow, which is pretty standard for grand strategies... Also there are backward time flow buttons which is quite confusing and they also don't work... I think it's hard to call a game anything like this. It's just a thing that you can open and close.
I have no idea what I'm doing and there is no tutorial even when enabling it in the settings, I got stuck at 10/1/2020 the game would not do anything at all, the music is extremely loud and in game the music slider does not work at all but at least the main volume slider does, when selecting a unit you cant unselect it you have to move it with right click, and the best parts of all: boats move across the ground and ocean and when you declare war all your units move to the enemy capital and bomb it then you take all of their country
Tries to do too much, achieves basically none of it. Half-baked game that is not actually playable in the current state.
don't buy it. it is crap
