This game sucks. It requires an account on their website that is no longer operational. Don't waste your money.
Pokud dojde k nápravě, recenzi určitě stáhnu a případně i přehodnotím. Do té doby 1/10.
Tags: Topdown - Rpgmaker & PartyRPG Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Eternal Early Access. Failed Kickstarter. Clicker cooldown RPG hybrid. Place pregenerated buildings on valid hotspots. Grind. Left unfinished with little content. This title is a stuck in early access failed kickstarter clicker-cooldown hybrid with some turn based party rpg mixed. You basically use a skyship to move around from instances to instances, and you have a town hub that you reconstruct using ressources you amassed in your adventures in a very typical cooldown - tablet - unity engine watered down tycoon kind of way. The combat is a hybrid of turn based with real time gauges going down. Your protag looks like some prepubescent kid, the whole thing felt pretty kiddish in tone. The whole thing also felt very sterile, clunky and robotic. The game would not fullscreen correctly so the windows toolbar would obscure necessary buttons to use buildings in the town. The combat was slow and boring generic swordsman and discount barrett fighting cheap 2D flash sprite foes. To add insult to injury the game will not let you play without you giving them yourt email and creating an account on a website with an expired security license that windows warns you against using. The page redirected to the recovery for accounts which I had none, and I had to manually navigate away from there to create a new one. Third party DRM and lack of steam integration in such a poor quality offering really irks me the wrong way. Conclusion: The content felt all clunky, seems like a lot of the stuff I was seeing was placeholders, with missing sections like town reconstruction happening all its own and discount barrett telling me I should had chosen different colors for example. Based on the work they accomplished so far it has that ... annoying free korean MMO feel to it, but it is instead a botched single player pre alpha proof of concept. I am really not keen on seeing the final product and I am removing this from my library effective immediately.
UPDATE (23 Jan 2020): When I first posted this review, I referred to the game as abandoned. Early in 2017 the publisher responded saying that it wasn't abandoned but they'd lost much of their team, progress was slow, and kickstarter.com was the place to check for updates on progress. Today, the kickstarter page hasn't been updated since 30 Jan 2019. No notice of progress or even a news item in a full year. Maybe now it's safe to say this project has been abandoned? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PREVIOUSLY UPDATED REVIEW (JAN 2017) The team developing the game has changed radically in the five years since its release on Steam. The game's progress has gone up and down, back and forth in that time. Complete redesigns of systems, etc. This development cycle is part of the deal with early access. We all know that by now. The team doesn't push updates to Steam, but instead you need to refer back to their Kickstarter over and over to find out what's happening. After five years, the game is listed still in pre-alpha phase 1. The game might get finished and it might be great when it is, but right now there isn't much going on. Wait for a finished product before parting with your dollars on this one.
