Steam Bandits: Outpost

This used to be a really good Early Access game, with a decent amount of beta content and a bunch of side missions and daily quests you could repeat for loot and resources. Then a really broken patch rolled out that disabled most of the side missions, broke most of the equipment, and basically made the game unplayable (your items determine your stats, so when the equipment broke the combat became a nightmarish slog). Right after this happened the whole team fell apart and it became a solo person project, and he has no intentions of rolling the game back to a functional state (possibly because he can't; it's hard to say). As it stands right now, this game is hopelessly broken and a pathetic shadow of its former self. They have stated on their Kickstarter page that the game is back in development (as of April or so), but I highly recommend not buying this unless a very serious patch actually gets rolled out. You are getting nothing but disappointment if you buy it right now, and given how many years this game has been left in this awful state, I don't have much confidence left that they can hold it together to roll out a patch. I hope I'm wrong, because goodness knows I put of a lot of fun hours into this before they broke it, but I wouldn't bet money on it twice.

The game is good and addictive fun- I have come to Katrina's Airship, a long ways- through some very hard battles the game, Atmid platform was very difficult but I made it through I think the battles are very challenging and is already complete as far as I have come-and I think I have come to the end of what is in the game now- I hope the game will go on from here the story is still moving forward- I love the steam punk designs-recoloring and the weapon's outfits everything- I am looking forward to the next town- or the snow hammers assult mission- I am working on leveling up my town- I do recommend this game its worth more than the price as is- I believe more is coming- for early access its very complete- a few minor bugs not even interfering with game play just maybe a hole of sky coming through a square at Rivit's Isles- nothing major- great job very enjoyable. Any review before the new updates are no longer the case- this game is a 10/10 My town is full of bear's walking around a panda bear, star bear brown bear and a dancing bear very adorable-

I love this game! I've been playing the game on and off since it's very early development and each update is a joy. It's humorous, it has action, exploration and nice sim elements with an already impressive amount of crafting and customization options. And it has its own unique setting and style. To add to this, the developpers are very friendly!

ein Fortschritt in der Entwicklung ist ncht zu sehen, mit anderen Worten das Spiel ist nicht mal im Ansatz spielbar und wird es wohl auch nicht mehr werden!

자신의 섬을 성장시킵니다. 모험도 하고 전투도 하면서 스토리를 진행하며, 다양한 섬들을 돌아다닐 수 있는 것으로 보이는군요. 유추하듯이 작성한 것은, 어느 퀘스트에서 게임이 멈춘 순간 할 수 있는 것이 사라졌기 때문. 초기에는 자신의 섬, 왠 프리 섬 말고는 갈 곳이 없습니다. 사냥터도 없고. 이거 뭘 어떻게 해야하는 거지.... 한가지 더 불편한 점은, 장비창을 들어가면 어떤 아이템이나 이미지만 있을 뿐, 내가 착용한 아이템을 일일이 클릭해야지 확인할 수 있더군요.

On Early Access for years and no updates for a year. Wasted money.

Unfinished Early Access abandonware Kickstarter scam. Uses Unity Web Player, a plugin for Unity that allows the game to be played through a browser, which leaves behind a 1.25GB folder in your AppData folder after uninstalling. It is undoubtedly designed for mobile. Didn't even play it as you must create an account once you launch the game through some unknown 3rd party service.

Crap, forever in early stage

Nice little game !!!! Nice graphic and gameplay !!!! I after almost 2h only found in 1 city 2 buildings that state "coming soon" so not much of a early access I think it'll be finished shortly!! They also got an experienced dev by their hand now! seems all ingame content is nearly complete and they only fix minor bugs and work on steam achievements etc. NICE !!!! BUT 20€ waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much.... especially for an early access.... luckyly I got it for 2 € on an other site!

This Game Has Been Abandon Since 2014 and Will No longer Be Playable!
