State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition

Not sure why I haven't reviewed this until now, but this is my favorite zombie game ever released. Looting is fun, and the base building is satisfying. There is a bit of an issue where there are a few base projects that are necessary like medical tent and workshop where they always take up slots leaving you with very limited slots to try new modules and make every base feel pretty samey unless you have one of the super large ones where you have enough free space to experiment. This game had been getting alot of love and attention from the devs since launch and it all being free was a blessing. Curveballs, lethal difficulty and more were really nice to see. Being released on older consoles definitely hamstrung this game though. Zombie spawns are super scuffed where driving fast cars are a death sentence when a Juggernaut spawns a foot in front of you, and it would be nice to see a mechanic similar to Project Zomboid where you can choose to have killed zoms not respawn anymore. Tethering is also a really annoying way for multiplayer to function and I hope they have free roam in SoD3. All in all this is a really great game and if a base building/looting zombie game sounds interesting then definitely give it a try.
