Being a merchant is hard enough, but with constant dragon attacks, demon resurrections, and magical wars, it's just about impossible. Nevertheless, it is your dream. Pick your wares, bargain with customers, and communion with the gods. Just don't invest it all in gold right before a kraken awakens.

About
All the kids wanted to become a dragon slayer, or a powerful wizard, or a mysterious rogue. You? You want one thing only: to make the most money possible.
Buy goods from merchants in town, stock your shelves, and haggle with customers. Whether for profit, or to attract customers with an amazing deal, the right items are essential.
The economy lives and breathes (and catches fire). A magical farm surplus could eradicate your margins, whereas a dragon attack could send your profits through the roof.
When the economy fails, there’s always divine intervention. Beseech ancient entities for sharper haggling, hypnotic auras, or a well-timed crop failure, since when has profit cared about morals?
Adventurers rise and fall, apprentices quit, and rogues turn over a new leaf; the demand for goods is ever-changing. Adapt fast and diversify, or think ahead and have all you need.
From eccentric heroes, mysterious witches, and those ever-present tax collectors, all sorts of strange characters wander into your store, each with their own stories.
Start with a humble shop, and expand into an emporium. Build new displays for your increasing collection, and when the time is right, move to a bigger, shinier money-making place.

About 7 hours in, past 80 days on normal difficulty, over 100K balance, I think I'm kinda done with the game. You're a merchant in a fantasy world, buy stuff on the market then resell them at your shop. Haggle with customers on the final price. Make enough money to pay your debt every 10th day. After upgrades and having more displays, you'll get into the groove of things and making a profit will be easier (thankful of the RNG of the Bob's Box (mystery box), got a few good stuff). No narrative/story to speak off. New game, got some text in the beginning, then off you go (with tutorial). Not unusual for store simulators but I'm a narrative driven player, at some point I'm like welp I think I played enough. I don't really pay attention to the news or the economy, but does it actually affect prices? Yeah, decided to read the news one day, like some mage guild bankruptcy, causing a lot of financial products to go down. As long you don't sell a lot of stuff at a loss, everything will be a-okay. I wouldn't say the game is bare bones, but it felt minimal if you're looking at other shop management games. Besides your debt, there's no other objectives, side quests, or exploration. "About this game" said "... move to a bigger, shinier money-making place." With the expansion; same wooden floor, same building, barely any change in decor. Bigger store means you can add more displays, that's it. I "recommend" because it's not a bad game. I got my fill of it and it's time to move on. If you're looking for a fantasy setting, simple shop management game to pass the time, this is a recommend on discount. Play the demo if you're interested in getting the feel of the game.
