STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions

Venturing into deep space on the ESS Starseeker, Astroneers work together to explore unknown regions of alien worlds to fight back against the Void. Launch timed Expeditions to freely roam the planet in search of resources, gear, and the local wildlife, or embark on collaborative Voidbreak Offensives that will test your gear and your Squad. When not saving the universe, players plan, customize, and socialize aboard the ever-changing space station that they call home.

Freely roam handcrafted worlds in search of the secrets within

The ESS Starseeker orbits unknown planets while the crew conducts research, investigates phenomena, and gathers resources and salvage for use in their fight against the Void. Planets are filled with dangerous creatures, hazardous flora, and mysterious forces. Planet Tephra is the first stop, a world of sprawling wetlands, dense jungles, and vast oceans, covered in the wreckage of an ill-fated EXO Dynamics voyage. When not battling the Void head on, crew members still contribute to the cause! Players can complete missions, gather resources, and explore at their own pace.

Lead Voidbreak Offensives to push back an existential threat

The Void is spreading its corruption. Work together with your Squad to complete Voidbreak Offensives, high tier missions that will test your skills and gear. Embark on these Offensives with a premade Squad, matchmake with a group, or attempt to tackle them solo. Each Offensive type has unique gameplay mechanics and enemies to face that will reward success but can also result in failure.

Unlock gear and customize your loadout

Players will have an advanced set of tools at their disposal while they face off with the unknown perils of space. Complete missions to gain access to advanced gear and tailor a custom loadout and cosmetics. The customization system allows you to move, layer, and resize every unlockable cosmetic item, allowing for endless creativity for your Astroneer.

Make an advanced space station your home

The ESS Starseeker is the heart of the crew, an ever-evolving space station where players get together to plan Expeditions, upgrade their gear, and bump elbows with strange visitors. Contribute to community quest for shared rewards, swap items with other players, or wait for your face to pop up on the big screens that highlight the best Astroneers on the Station.
