Fun game but has it flaws. Like most who will play this I bought after Yogs Tom posted his vid and I can say it is a fun game but need refinement. The weapons have a lack of versatility and there is only one really perfect build but is still fun to try to last as long as you can get cash for later runs. I.E. if you do not get buster and a few upgrades before the first boss he will remain on screen two to three times longer without it. The other thing is cash does little to influence further runs and need to be fine tuned. I would add "attack speed %" or "Pick up range" or "heal after so many kills" because armor, HP and move speed do little to help when surrounded by 50+ ships late into a run. Hoping to see updates like vampire survivor to balance out combat and would recommend in current state.
Game hasn't been updated since August 2022 and seemingly has been abandoned by the dev, while I gave it a positive review before as I thought it had potential I can't recommend it now that it has been abandoned. There are plenty of other similar Vampire Survivor likes that are getting active updates so look there instead.

Abandoned by dev. Playable but very bare bones for a vampire survivors like. Better off finding something else looks like they just cashed out on the trend where any vampire survivors like game was selling well and didnt bother finishing it. Disappointing as it has potential.
Game is dead but I didn't spend much on it I guess.
It's very fun, fast paced & has a lovely neon-pixel art style.
Takes some getting used to - primarily left / right shooting is a challenge to start with but upgrading weapons etc and switching between fighter/mecha is good fun. Worth the price
Just barely feel like recommending this one. StarMech is yet another mixture of the bullet heaven formula popularized by Vampire Survivors and a shmup, in this case a horizontal one with 360 degrees freedom of movement. The game presents an interesting "double build" mechanic of sorts, as the player can unlock and upgrade weapons for both the ship and its transformation - a cool-looking mech that moves slowly but tends to have larger firepower. With bright modernized pixelated graphics and a fun gameplay, a match in StarMech goes by pleasantly, but there's currently no alternative game modes or much to unlock in general, negating real motivations to play through the game from time and time again after beating the clock - something that's pretty easy to do. There's a mechanically very good game in here, it just needs more variety to become a classic. Bullet Heaven Fandom review #22.
