Star Trek: Resurgence

Nice try but the game is far too clunky. Some of the worst combat sequences in an adventure game I've played in a long time. Any good part of the game is eroded by how obtuse the combat sequences and mini-games are. 5.5/10, wouldn't play again.

I got recommended this game by a friend who likened it to Detroit become human meets the expanse and he was not wrong! this is a narrative beauty and the spirit of Star Trek is alive in this game.

A decent Star Trek movie. I mean, game! Star Trek license fees went up (without reason at all since it’s still a niche franchise) and the game got delisted. Let’s say its budget was around 5M USD. Star Trek DIS, SNW, SFA budget is about 8M USD per episode. Paramount greed and Kurtzman slop know no bounds indeed. What a wonderful world of creativity. The story is a good (not great) TNG-level story. Might border with TOS ones since at times the threat seems to be too overpowering and chances for success are slim. Clever tie-ins with certain TNG and TOS characters. Decent callbacks to DS9 themes as well. And of course there are fun buttons to make characters say “Engage” and “Energize”. It’s an labour of love without bordering into the fanfic territory. The gameplay is surprisingly decent for a Telltale-style game. A bunch of phaser and tricoder sections, even some stealth is here. The optimization is horrendous though. Perhaps it’s the usual Unreal Engine 5 “difficulties” but at times it consumes more power at FHD than much more demanding and fast-paced games at QHD. Can recommend to Star Trek fans. Also look for Star Trek: Borg Remastered and Star Trek: Klingon Remastered for more choice and consequence games (both are ancient, available online and not on Steam unfortunately).

Pretty great star trek story. highly recommend. game has glitches though and desperately needs a chapter loss option.

Die Grafik ist eine Zumutung für diese recht aktuellen Titel. Die Story ist langatmig und auch nicht richtig spannend.

Прекрасная сюжетная игра. Или скорее интерактивное кино. Максимально близкое по духу к Star Trek образка 90-х годов - TNG и DS9. Ощущение, как будто смотришь сериал тех времен. Отличная постановка, живые персонажи. Геймплей тут минимальный. Он нужен чисто для погружения. Он не душит, а просто выполняет свою главную задачу. С удовольствием прошел. В каком-то смысле - это глоток свежего воздуха для тех, кому нравится старый, олдскульный Трек.

Plusy: + Oprawa wizualna. Gra jest śliczna i wiele miejsc wygląda epicko zwłaszcza świątynie Tkon + Fabuła, która idealnie nadaje się do jakiegoś bardzo dobrego filmu Science-Fiction. Są zwroty akcji (niektóre dosyć zaskakujące, jak z Kapitanem Solano), są intrygi bohaterów, fabuła jest bezbłędna + Bohaterowie. Porównując do innych gier tego typu jak "The Walking Dead" czy "Life is Strange" to bohaterowie wypadają miernie, ale jak na taką produkcję i taki świat, są oni idealni. Można się przyczepić co do niektórych, ale Portal 63, Carter czy główna bohaterka Jara Rydek wypadają bardzo dobrze + Gra dwoma bohaterami. Rzadko jest to spotykane, a tutaj to bardzo dobrze wypada + Wybory. Niektórzy by się przyczepili, że nie zmieniają za bardzo gameplayu, ale mi się podobają wybory typowo pod relacje z bohaterami, więc dla mnie plusik. Na pewno duży plus za wybory typowo dowódcze (mianowanie na Pierwszego Oficera i dowodzenie na mostku) + Misje na skradanie się. Jestem fanem skradanek. Tutaj może nie były jakieś nie wiadomo jak trudne, ale na pewno enjoyable + Finałowa akcja. Bitwa powietrzna i akcja sabotażowa od środka to chyba najlepszy moment tej gry + Swobodne poruszanie się po statku w formie dodatku Minusy: - Muzyka. Jest ona po prostu typical jak na taką grę. Może gadam głupoty, może za dużo grałem ostatnio w gry z wybitną muzyką, ale tutaj ona po prostu jest i tyle - Tragiczna czułość myszy, której nie da się zmienić. Jak były eventy z użyciem myszki to nie raz musiałem jeździć po całym biurku, żeby trafić nią w pole - Oczekiwałem trochę więcej od zakończenia Ocena gry: 9.1/10
