In Star Trek Online, the Star Trek universe appears for the first time on a truly massive scale. Players take the captain's chair as they command their own starship and crew. Explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations, and boldly go where no one has gone before.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
About

More than a century has passed since the events of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and thirty years since the events of Star Trek: Nemesis. The Romulan Empire has fractured after the destruction of their homeworld; the Federation and Klingon Empire are at war yet again after decades of peace; militant Cardassians threaten the recovery of their own people. All the while, ancient powers lurk in the Delta and Gamma Quadrants, waiting for the right time to strike. The galaxy is in turmoil and it's up to you and your crew to save it!
In Star Trek Online, customize your Captain, ship, and crew, and enjoy your very own Star Trek experience with more than 160 episodes through multiple story arcs. Explore strange new worlds on daring away missions and defy the odds in epic space combat. This ever-expanding, completely Free-to-Play online experience brings the Star Trek universe to life!
Experience an MMO beyond the Final Frontier. Go from Ensign to Fleet Admiral entirely free-to-play!
Partake in epic space battles and lead away teams across unknown worlds. Join forces with Star Trek legends like Spock, Janeway, Worf, Tilly, and over 40 more Star Trek characters, played by their original actors!
Defend the Federation, rebuild the Romulan Republic, restore honor to the Klingon Empire, or serve the Dominion in battle! Each faction features vastly different ships, crew, gear, and play styles.
Create and customize a Captain from any species in the galaxy, or even make your own! Select from hundreds of ships and find the one that fits YOUR play style.

Great game, amazing event ships, fleets, and players, been playing for years on pc and ps4, and i have great memeories of this game with my dad
played it ALOT on xbox and its still as fun now as it was then,
Its one of those games I come back to. Constant content additions, yeah the graphics are dated but all the crazy missions and stuff. for the longest time they allowed people to crate content and submit it, as you can imagine there are some star trek fans out there that are willing to do that. The game could use a facelift but overall its a good game. Also, don't create your account through Steam go through Cryptic/Arc games. You will indeed miss out of a lot of free stuff. And some of the ships that are free are actually far better than PTP ships through the stores.

Really good, I like the fact that you can name your ships really devious things like I did (not that devious trust me) and just obliterate things by looking at them and shooting the rail of death ship
nicho
Played this on and off since launch, life time membership, came back and they should have renamed it "Crash Trek" or "Star Lag".. it will crash a system and their are numerous fix pages (2025+) and searches to fix it, but a game this old shouldnt have these issues, and the Lag when you can log on and its not crashing.. I have been just doing basic personnal dailies and research and its laggy as and lucky not to crash on launch or during setting your personnal to tasks.. If they cared about it and fixed it, its a great game, lots to do, missions attached to the shows and movies, and new content.. but its very obvious they dont
