What a waste of money. Total money grab from Paradox. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Won't be buying paradox games any longer.
I played through 7 or 8 games as the main factions. The game still has a few bugs and balancing issues. However, it can still be played and enjoyed despite these.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Abandoned. The long story made short is that Embracer sold Nimble Giant to Paradox and Paramount is trying to double-dip on the licensing, which caused the whole thing to grind to a halt. Avoid ANYTHING by Embracer/Saber Avoid Paramount Receive enlightenment. Live Long and Prosper ... but don't buy this dead game.
Do not buy, unless it's very heavily discounted. The game has been abandoned by Paradox immediately after release. :/ I should have known better, but i love Star trek and wanted to support a full-fledged 4X in its universe from the start. I even bought the premium stuff! First play was a bit disappointing, as it felt overwhelming even in the tutorial: instead of a starting 4X, you're dumped into a midgame situation (to have the political map already established, understandably I guess?) and have to learn ALL THE THINGS at once. It was clearly intended for long-term Stellaris players, not newcomers. But so what, I thought I'll come back to it when I have the time & headspace to grapple with all the stuff, maybe even play Stellaris to learn the early game part this skips... It's been less than 6 months. I open the page to check the specs before reinstalling on an older laptop, and find out the game only had any updates for a few weeks after launch, and even worse is now already officially abandoned. Welp. Serves me right for being enthusiastic about a franchise I trust, I suppose. :/ I'll still play what is there of course, eventually. But unless the mod community salvages it (and I'm not sure there's enough players for that load of work to be appealing), we'll never get the "Star Trek 4X" we were hoping for and Paradox had promised to deliver. You're much better off buying Stellaris and using the free ST mod instead, as things currently stand.
I like the idea of the team and I do not care that it is based on an older Stellaris Version. The heart was at the right place. I can recommend this game of Star Trek Fan the most. LLAP
I dont think its a bad game. I love stellaris too. If someone wants to play stellaris and mod over this game then just do that. If the DEV updates this game and releases DLC I'll buy the DLC
DO NOT BUY Paradox has already abandoned this game, and even then it's just a worst Stellaris, I severely regret getting the preorder for this game, and if I could I would refund this Go play the Stellaris Star Trek mods instead, they gave much better love then this ever had
What an absolute epic let down. Unfinished and abandoned do not buy. Shouldn't be on the Steam store any longer!
Worthless Devs, worthless publisher. Released half baked game and already abandoned. Never again.
