First Impression: Can't beat the price. Could use a tutorial, or a read-me file for the controls, and settings. There doesn't seem to be any scoring system, or evidence of progress.
Needs some serious work on the flight controls. Otherwise pretty solid demo. I could make one better in Unity within 2 hours tho.
i am split! - but for under 1EUR its a save buy PRO: 1. i always wanted a game like this 2. nice SpaceSim with some "Ego-Shooter" vibes 3. fun NEUTRAL: 1. with setting all to "0" in boot.config it runs smooth (2700X + RX 580 4G + 32GB DDR4) 2. easy learning curve CONTRA: 1. you cant choose any settings (Graphics/Controls etc) 2. "CapitalShip-Mode" takes 1min to complete (or i am doing it wrong)

Warning: Asset Flip!
Space Fighter is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Boom Games/Boom Team (this guy uses a couple of different accounts to try hide his identity), took the Space Combat Kit Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, VSXGames, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. Boom Games/Boom Team has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Space Fighter" = Space Combat Kit developed by VSXGames
"Car Tuning Simulator" = Advanced Tuning Cars developed by James Novih
"Street Striker" = Beat 'Em Up - Game Template 3D developed by Osarion
"Megacraft Hentai Survival" = UnitZ Battlegrounds developed by Hardworker Studio
"Megacraft Hentai Apocalipsis" = UnitZ UNET developed by Hardworker Studio
"Soup!" = Hidden Object Game Template developed by Puppeteer
"Megacraft Hentai And Zombies" = UnitZ UNET developed by Hardworker Studio
"Megacraft Hotspot Royale" = Z Fighter - Battle Royale Source Code developed by Skinox
"Hentai in the Forest" = Survival Engine developed by Indie Marc
Because this is an almost exact 1:1 copy + paste of the original Unity asset, it's in violation of the Unity Asset Store Terms of Service and EULA. Specifically, Section 2, Subsection 2.2.1a: Subject to the restrictions set forth in this EULA, Licensor hereby grants to the END-USER a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, and perpetual license to the Asset solely:(a) to incorporate the Asset, together with substantial, original content not obtained through the Unity Asset Store, into an electronic application or digital media that has a purpose, features, and functions beyond the display, performance, distribution, or use of Assets ("Licensed Product") as an embedded component of that Licensed Product, such that the Asset does not comprise a substantial portion of the Licensed Product Because the developer misused the asset pack such that it comprises the vast majority of this "game", the developer has unethically and deliberately breached the license agreement. Worse, this intellectual property violation was done in an attempt to profit from their illicit actions. Why is this permitted on Steam? The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Space Combat Kit" is just a sample asset pack for making space combat games with a couple of different game modes and some low poly demo assets, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Boom Games.
Profile Features Limited!
Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
ESPAÑOL
(For English, please scroll down with the mouse wheel or use the scroll bar in the right corner) Este juego me parece una nave que sale en No Man's Sky del mismo modelo; pues el juego poner a practicar como novatos con Star Fighter para los novatos del juego No Man's Sky o similares..
ENGLISH
This game looks to me like a ship that appears in No Man's Sky of the same model; Well, the game to practice as novices with Star Fighter for novices of the game No Man's Sky or similar .. The main problem is that they do not have access to options: configure the graphic, sound, key binding on the keys to configure the shortcuts. This game can be a bit lagging for those with integrated Intel HD when playing. At least that the developer should improve and put the OpenGL v3.0 so that it is better for the players and even novices of No Man's Sky or similar. I love a No Man's Sky type ship flight with combat, even a space station or a capital ship type frigate (the famous "dreadnougts") The graphics are decent, as can be a brief lagging while flying. The best adapted sound. Gameplay is excellent, lower the speed of the keyboard and mouse sensitivity when flying.
Star Fighter. Boom Games have released their newest IP to compete with the upcoming release of Starfield. Is it good? Well. Parts of it succeed at being unoriginal and basic, with the most minimal amount of interactivity. I like simple, but I don't think this game has enough juice, if you know what I mean. When I look at high brow content, like Dude Simulator 2, I see elements that are so tender and unique. Star Fighter feels like the cheapest paint you can get, the kind that dries after sitting in the sun for 3 minutes. You know what I'm talking about? The controls are straight ripped from War Thunder, only this doesn't support flight sticks, which put me at a severe advantage. When I plugged in my flight stick, the game actually told me to go funk myself in Korean, so I'm not sure if that's what it said, but I have a hunch. Anyways, I wish the developers at Boom Games good luck. This title ain't it, but maybe in the future they will be able to compete with the big dogs. It is with a heavy a heart that I must advise you to PASS on this video game.
This game is pretty good, and enjoyable, just like any other star fighter game you have to make the controls feel how you would enjoy playing fighter games. Pretty good game, I personally enjoyed killing 8 capital ships as a star fighter

It's crap, i thing is the worst game i played in along time!
