Sweet but sadly too short. I found the characters and plot very interesting, though sadly the game is too short to explores all the themes it presents properly and while I'm fond of the characters I sadly feel that i wasn't given enough time to grow attached to them. Overall I'd recommend it, but at the same time I'd say that this game desperately needs a DLC or update to put some more meat on it's bones. Also, Isol is best girl.
The protag is the least interesting character, if not outright meh and few times rude to others for no good reason. And then I got hit by dialogue "I'am not a woman" when playing female protagonist.. Well.. don't feel like a typo and take me out of experience. It's a shame, cause the VN has unique themes, (reminds me of Winds Rises and making planes for war effort) and all the other characters are rather interesting, gorgeous artstyle, fine music and voiceacting.
I bought this because Shy told me to.
This game surprised me with how invested I became within it's world and story, I am usually the kind of person to just skim opening world building and get to character interactions yet I enjoyed this games brevity. I must admit that the start and stop nature of spoken vs read dialog was jarring at times, but I grew to cherish the spoken lines when they showed up. I truly didn't expect to connect so much with the protagonist, when my name was pre-set I thought "aw I can't put my own name" but after experiencing the game I can say that I very much enjoyed the personality shown in the main character even when at times options we're chosen for me. The story here actually provoked an emotional response in me which from starting out with a three-some was a pleasant surprise, by the time credits rolled I forgot I was playing a dating sim and became enthralled in the visual novel aspect. I think this game has good characters and a decisively good story, I enjoyed my time interacting with the world and characters and would recommend! It's a little rough around the edges but it has heart and class.
well written with wonderful characters. Wish it was a bit longer, but other than that its a great visual novel I can recommend.
I liked Carla's and Isol's stories but Nikita was just plain stupid. Also if you plan to play through as a girl then just be aware it is clearly intended for you to play as a man. Most noticeable in one of Nikita's event which is one of the few in which you see the player character although shaded so you can fully make a determination on the gender it is clearly a man. Still worth playing just skip Nikita. If you want all the achievements you need to play the final hangout of chapter 2 with a character and make a different choice at the end of it. Just make a save when you get your first hangout option. Pick 1 then when you get the second pick whom ever of the two remaining you want to do. That is when you get a chance to make the choice.
A very cute and pleasant story with heavier introspective themes than I was expecting going into it. I would very much recommend this VN to those interested and I hope the team is proud of what they've made(:
Amazing art and voice acting! Great job :)
Degenerate Slop
I'll start off by saying, I bought this game awhile ago. I bought it before I really started becoming critical of sexual content in my games. I know that's not something everyone struggles with like I do, but I still appreciate games with a good story. In many story based games, sexual content can still be avoided. I decided to try playing this game with the hopes of encountering a good story and good character interactions, perhaps even romances depending on how tame the game was. There was one thing I didn't take into account, though. The main character. I hate him. The first ten minutes of the game are great. Good story to back the setting, narrating the details of how we've come to where we are. The war is over. It's time to celebrate. What a cool idea. And then the main character chats with a woman, Carla... And they both immediately are considering doing the hanky panky. They go outside and meet a female lizard who neither of them know and... Also, wants to. In a threesome. I chose to decline the options. But then my character has his inner monologue about how he can't believe he turned down a threesome with Carla and a lizard woman. And I'm sitting here thinking, "Bro I don't care what it is YOU want to do". The story immediately turns into him seeing a fella and thinking "Oh they're cute, what should I say" and I just stopped the game right there. I get there are tags in here for sexual content. I didn't miss that. But are you really going to strong-arm me into trying to hook up with every character I meet in the first thirty minutes? You're going to force me to play as a character with zero self control? We can't have any time to naturally meet and learn about characters? Even visual novels that have sexual content in them at least know how to introduce the player character to others.
Liked the story. Giggled my way through the opening. my only wish is that it was longer. Would recommend wholeheartedly.
