STALZONE is the PvPvE extraction shooter where you don't have to start over — and the only one with persistent world worth belonging to. You are invited to explore the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone twisted by anomalies and divided between rival factions whose territories shape the danger around you
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

About
You are invited to explore the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone twisted by anomalies and divided between rival factions whose territories shape the danger around you. Choose your side and over time you’ll learn where it’s safer to travel and also where every route can become a gamble.
Experience nail-biting tension without the frustration of loss: keep your gear and long-term progress but the loot you find is at risk until you bring it back alive. Upgrade your weapons and refine your build. No one can take it away from you.

The world persists and is not just a place to loot. NPCs live in it, factions fight over it, and players shape it with no escape timers or progression wipes. It's the only extraction shooter that plays like an MMO — and the only MMO that plays like an extraction shooter.
The Zone is a living social ecosystem where open-world events, faction conflicts, social hubs, and a player-driven market bring people together. Trade, cooperate in 5-player squads, ambush, betray, or carve out your own reputation. Every system creates interaction, and every interaction becomes a story.

A cinematic storyline that includes main and side quests smoothly immerses you in the world and its mechanics through nail-biting action, dialogues, and real choices that affect the story. You’ll enjoy a narrative experience almost like a single-player STALKER-style journey inside a persistent online world.

STALZONE has grown through years of development, iteration, and community-driven evolution. Over that time, it has become a unique ecosystem of mechanics, social systems, and player-made stories unlike anything else.

New to extraction shooters? STALZONE is built to give you the best of all worlds. Enjoy a 50+ hour cinematic story campaign that guides you through the Zone step by step delivering dangers, progression, factions, and PvPvE tension. It gives you room to learn, adapt, and survive against both the world and other players, turning extraction into something you discover through fun, not suffering.
STALZONE is intentionally free to play. No box price, no trick, no scam — just a world we have spent years building, asking only for your curiosity and nerve.
Explore more. Risk more.
The Zone doesn’t punish curiosity and remembers.

This game absolutely deserves the Mixed review, because I'm aware that the game itself is really flawed. As a fan of STALKER franchise I do enjoy this game for what it is. It takes a moment getting used to the blocky aesthetics, but I didn't have too much issue getting immersed similarly to STALKER games. The quests are surprisingly good! Considering that this is an MMO, I was expecting them to be far worse! Writing might be a miss for some, but it works more often than it doesn't and if something reads odd, I can just chalk it up to localization. Minor gripe of mine are "personalized locations" for some quests. I'll give a fictional example: As a Stalker you get a quest to meet Hunter somewhere in Stalker territory, but as Bandit he's gonna have a location somewhere in Bandit territory. I'd actually like if some quests were more difficult for Stalker, while easier for Bandits and vice-versa, where this fictional Hunter would have only one location. Some quests do have a shared spot and I've finally received tasks as a bandit to go into deep Stalker territory, but as Stalker I've not really seen any quest that would have sent me deep into Bandit territory so far. Some task require you to actually read the dialogue and the game is not afraid to let you blunder them or give alternative rewards based on your decisions. Some quests require you solve a puzzle, cypher, etc. which works really well for the game, even tho I could see some players being frustrated with some of them, especially since this game doesn't have any good wiki or up to date quest guide to get spoonfed the solutions. Which I personally like, I like it when I have to figure things out by myself instead of letting Google walk me through everything. Progression is weird, very similar to World of Tanks or Warthunder, but there is not research and you can skip previous tiers of weapons if you want. It's also definitely a Pay 2 Win game, you can just pay with your wallet to roll for endgame-ish gear. I wouldn't really pay for much in this game, the Season Pass has dropped some high-end weapons for me and it has messed up my progression a little, because I just didn't have incentive to grind for a different weapon. If you open your wallet, expect to just play this game less as a result? I've made it only up to Bar so far and it seems that that's the point of the game where progression deliberately slows down. The extraction aspect is good! Unlike in other extraction games where you lose everything, losing only consumables, ammo, crafting material, junk items, etc. instead of your whole gear puts some pressure on you to not just sleepwalk through the Zone, but doesn't punish you too much as long as you drop off junk in safezones regularly or use personal stashes. PvP has been fine so far, no horror stories of kitted out players hunting me down with their Rookie Exterminator +15, large majority of people that have killed me were on similar tier of gear as me. I'd consider myself a PvE player that's enjoying the storyline, but I enjoy ventilating other player's skull when opportunity arises. Unfortunately, the in-game chat is pretty dead at least on European server, so I'm missing some social aspect that other similar games provide since I'm currently playing the game Solo and don't really have interest joining clans or Discord communities. As far as performance goes, the game runs smoothly, I've experienced no crashed. One issue that I can think of was when was trying to dig up signal caches and the containers stayed beneath the ground and were unreachable, that has happened about twice. Another issue were safespots during emissions, map markers indicated that somewhere where I am should be a shelter, but I couldn't find any cellar or cave to hide in. There was even one "shelter" that was in some ruined house's yard with no cover, which worked, but was still sketchy. This issue should be resolved, I'm all for learning the map, but naming the safespots could be a good solution in order for players to at least know what to look for in the area. Overall, this game does scratch that Stalker itch of mine, especially as someone that just likes to roam around and do dynamic missions, this game provides you with a wealth of new anomalous fields and maps to explore. Shout out for getting heavily influenced by the Shadow of Chernobyl maps, seeing a different take on Swamps, Garbage, Rostok, Bar, etc. is familiar, yet the game is not afraid to hit you with some inspired custom maps such as a city that has sunken beneath the ground.
