Spy Fox 3 "Operation Ozone"

Satisfying end to the Spy Fox series. Once again the background art looks abit unfinished at times but the characters, environments, puzzles, music are all great as always. This one however includes alot of backtracking with over 5+ Spy Gadgets and due to limited inventory you'll need to revisit the base alot just to grab those gadgets which can be a little annoying at times. Alot of this game feels like a repeat of Spy Fox 1, where you have to find an important character to save, the character gives you an idea on how to defeat the villain, said villain wants to take over the world, etc abit unoriginal and Spy Fox 1 just did everything better. Another UK Version accessed via Properties>Beta, great for another playthrough with the British cast. Despite that, i did enjoy the game as once again multiple playthroughs and scenarios to keep it fresh and the final level is the best out of all the games since it feels like a proper puzzle which ends in a very satisfying conclusion to the Spy Fox series.

Dub : V.A. of Spy Fox (the character) changed in French ver. and it's pretty different (less goofy) but still really good, he sounds more posh and it's a lot like the uk version. Nothing to say about English (uk) ver., amazing as always. Gameplay : Maybe it could have had more unique locations depending on the version like in Dry Cereal with the Russian Blue chase or have Walter Wireless/Sebastien Sanfil back? But Operation Ozone is still a really good game. It's as goofy as usual, the writing is fun, the gadgets too, the scenes as well, but Poodles/Vénus Galor is by far the biggest villain since she doesn't really have a sobsob backstory. Personal recommandations when playing : Play as badly as you can, they put a lot of thought into making funny stuff if we do things the wrong way. Click everywhere, try to be as dumb as possible. It makes the game longer and some new scenes can be seen sometimes, not only voiced lines. Spy Fox series overall thoughts : The biggest problem about the Spy Fox series is that there are only 3 games. I'd buy a fourth opus right away if it's got the same style and quality. There could be an all star where they all get out of prison. Practical advice : For people wanting the uk dub of the English version, go to Properties>Beta and choose uk. If the game doesn't launch anymore, download ScummVM from the official website and replace ScummVM in the local files with the app you downloaded, it'll work again. It seems like they didn't update ScummVM for the uk version only and so it's an old one that isn't supported anymore on some OS, but the game files aren't corrupted, no worries.
