I originally played the demo for this and I had fun with it. I would never have heard of the game if the demo did not have achievements as that is how I discovered the game in the first place. The game is fun but there are several problems. The bosses are not that well designed and easy , specially the last boss. It feels short in a good way. By that I mean the game is short and I wish it was longer and more expanded upon. Some weapons are not that good others are great. Once you get a lot of upgrades going on ,it can be fun. My run from the first to the last boss took a little over 2 hours or so in total. Some levels feels too small for my liking, but not too bad overall. I am someone who prefers large levels. I wish I could have exchanged other currencies I collected for the next one in line that I needed for upgrades to shorten the grind to unlock upgrades just a little bit. The main charm of this game is that the gameplay loop is addicting and fun. I am someone who prefers a good Episodic FPS hence why I don't like the arena stuff that much. I prefer having the entire level explorable in a game. Very rarely does a game grab me in the gameplay side of things and this is a rare exception for me . Another thing that I should add is this game feels like something that should have come out in Early Access and slowly over time have more content added and be improved upon. It is fun in the current version but it does a lack a bit of polish overall as it is rough around the edges. The reason I say that is because the upgrades felt limited and I felt like I saw most of the weapon and equipment types halfway through the game. And there was very little new things to see after around the halfway mark, The talking head character feels like something that could be expanded upon to provide more story to the player. I had a small bug where each session of the game the resolution would reset back to 1920x1080 Borderless but that was an easy fix. Overall I enjoyed the game despite it's flaws. The gameplay loop is fun enough to make up for the meh boss fights and meh level design and the small arenas. I can only hope there is more content down the line like a free content update with more stuff to do and new bosses to tackle. I would say wait for a 30% to a 40% sale for the game as for the amount of content in the game ,the price is a bit too steep. 71/100
Absolutely reccomend this game if you like Half life-esque visuals, fun yet slightly different kinds of weapons that are not your usual pistol, shotgun, smg, rocket launcher assortment type fare but as you play you can see the dyanmic the weapons fulfill and how they work in combat like a frisbee has infinite ammo but works like a boomerang, A lacross stick tosses balls but dependant on how you work it can act like a shotgun of sorts, a football could be a deadly rocket of lightning, or a heavy ball of tungsten you smear someone's head with. Your build helps you define what you will be playing with and the game has a really fun progression system with multiple currencies you unlock that all build towards your self improvement.

Very fun, well worth the price tag. Sport equipment alien/zombie/robot/mummy death
## What I Liked - Fun theme and presentation, love many of the influences the enemies are taken from and it meshes together very well. - Weapons are non-traditional and fun to figure out. - Constant drip of unlocks. ## What I Didn't Like - Leveling slows down pretty quickly and you aren't presented new weapon options at a good rate. - Would have loved to see some modifiers that you could use after completing the game to change up the next playthrough. ## Gameplay The feeling of the shooting and movement is very striking, while avoiding the dashing or double-jump you would typically see in these games. A true Arena shooter in how you play, with very light Roguelike elements in that you have to complete the series of levels in one go. This ended up not being an issue for me as I made it through in one shot. Perhaps that speaks to the difficulty needing to be tuned a bit more or perhaps my weapon drops helped carry me. The big thing I wish was here was a way to get more frequent weapon choices. I probably only leveled up twice the last two series of arenas and I just fell back to using the same weapon over and over again. If you are going to have randomized weapons, flood me with options to choose from. ## Graphics & Sound It's very much retro themed, but it looks super fun and the sound matches that. Enemies have cool designs and the effects are very clear to track visually. ## Would I Recommend It? Yes ### Who Should Skip It I really don't know, it's a great little game to dive into if you like retro shooters. If you want something super deep, that would be the only thing I would say should cause a skip. ## PC Spec CPU: i7-14700K Memory: 32GB Video Card: RTX 3080 Storage Type: NVMe Monitor resolution: 5120x1440
Nice small rogeulite game! Great valiue for the price. Also in what else game can you smack an enemy with a football ball?
This ♥♥♥♥ is awesome and fun. The jokes inside make me laugh like a dog LOL. The weapon designs are just fit, won't be too easy or too hard to use. Ammo amounts are also in balanced. Wish there will be endless mode in the future.
Fun, funny, and stylish. Runs great on Steam Deck. Love the creature-feature vibes, and the soundtrack SLAPS
Spoko gra. Fajne bronie, git przeciwnicy no i ogólnie fajnie się gra, pozdro.
In a sea of roguelikes this is one of the few unique ones. Reminds me alot of Zombies ate my Neighbors. Mindless fun with a unique twist on weapons.
