The game itself is fun if you enjoy these type of games... it is grindy, but theory crafting builds and farming loot feels rewarding... if you actually get the chance to play it properly.
I cannot recommend SpiritVale in its current state because it is completely crippled by bugs, botting, and non existent support.
Broken Auction House & Economy: The auction house was disabled previously, and trading is broken again. Level 150 players are constantly blocked from trading with errors claiming they don't meet the level 20 requirement. The official Discord has been flooded with these complaints for days with no resolution or announcement at all. (Same for botting)
No Support: If you encounter a bug or loss of items, you won't get help. Tickets sit unanswered for days if not weeks. Discord staff simply tell players to create support tickets that go nowhere, leaving hundreds of community complaints completely unaddressed.
Unbearable Bot Infestation: SpiritVale's map design makes the bot issue exponentially worse than in other MMOs. Because maps are small and shared rather than instanced, you can cycle through channel 1 to 10 and find at least 3+ bots farming every single map at times. It makes progressing or farming often impossible.
Flawed Anti-Cheat and False Bans: False ban claims? - Honestly I can see those happening, but I dont say every ban handed out is with out a reason. The game lacks a proper anti-cheat system and relies heavily on manual reports and community "Bot Hunters".. which is just a fancy titel, they report just like everyone else. Players hand out bot reports like candy... even targeting legit players, making it painfully easy for them to actually catch false bans while actual bot trains continue running around. (I'm NOT banned btw~)
