Spirit of Baciu is a short atmospheric puzzle game that I found surprisingly memorable. The atmosphere was easily the strongest part of the experience. The story and setting kept me interested, and while I wouldn't call it scary, it definitely leans more toward a darker, mysterious spirit-world type of experience. The beginning and ending felt a little slow for my personal taste, but nothing that took away from the overall game. The puzzles and small objectives do a good job of moving you through the story without overstaying their welcome. It's a fairly short game, but I think that was intentional. It tells the story it wants to tell, leaves an impression, and ends before it starts to feel repetitive. There are only three Steam achievements, all earned naturally by completing the game, making it an easy 100% if that's something you enjoy. Since the game is free, I'd say it's worth checking out if you're curious. There were no real complaints from me. It's a simple, atmospheric experience with an interesting story, and I enjoyed it from start to finish.
