If "Into the Breach" was a watercolour painting, you'd get this game. Pleasantly surprised it works out of the box via Proton on Linux on my 2017 thinkpad. Framerate could be better: reckon there's some weird shader things going on.
Very beautiful game. I wish there were more fighting encounters, they’re really fun!
What a stunning and cool little game! Congrats to the team for all the time and effort put not only into getting the gameplay loop to its absolute best, but also the amount of research and attention to detail on the art side. If the project had a lot more time in its hands (as well as a budget) to the point where it would be developed as a more lengthy game, I would definitely pay for it and therefore I feel honored to have experienced your visions in this bite-sized free version. The only "complaints" that I have are: - continuously walking for either of the two characters makes them do a brief stop and then continue again (I am not sure if this is intended?) - the main menu is way too simple and considering the rest of the stunning UI you guys have, you can easily and definitely do better (I am looking at you... content update phase!) - if possible, please replace the current input prompt textures with in-house ones (not sure if this is different on controller, only played the game with mouse & keyboard) Congratulations once again and thank you for this experience.

The artstyle is super unique and interesting, characters have fun dialouge and the gameplay is fun and easy to understand. I look forward to see future development!
This game is so beautiful! The combat was strategic, and I loved the two characters and all their drama. I can tell that a lot of love was poured into this game from everyone involved! Well done!!
Good artstyle with fitting music, If you into tactical grid based rpgs this game is for you, the combat feels satisfying although a guide would be nice in the first battle to quickly grasp how it works. I see a bright future if the game gets updated to give a bit more freedom, would also appreciate an option to lower the sound in game. Overall pretty fun!
The game's style is fine, the characters' walking animation is a separate art form. This game lacks some interesting charm. As it is, you meet one hero, follow him along a single path, and encounter scripted enemies. The strategy itself is fine, but it lacks variety in enemies, interesting skills, equipment, and other content. All I'm trying to say is that the game is raw and there's no freedom of choice.
Amazing experience if you are looking for a short narrative adventure with interesting turn-based combat. Fun characters with interesting banter. The only thing the game is missing is a layer of polish to the game feel, UI and onboarding but this didn't get in the way of the gameplay. FPS drops on lower-end device tho :( I had a great time and can't wait to see more :D

Game developed by students from BUAS. It is a fun game and I like the graphics and atmosphere. The gameplay is easy to understand, but still enjoyable, and the overall style gives the game a lot of charm. For a student project, it feels polished and creative. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy a short fun indie game.
