This game is wonderfully cozy and charming. I use this game as a body double while cleaning, writing, and prepping Dungeons and Dragons. I can only imagine how many more hours I'd have if this game came out while I was in school. It's not a magic trick, and discipline isn't included in the game, but if a Pomodoro timer works for you then this game is an adorable set of focus tools. With updates and DLC, more of my interests are added! I'd say the time I've spent is well worth the extra DLC in this game, but I am concerned about bloat without depth. I would still like more interactions with my spirits, ways to save preset soundscapes + lofi tracks like we can with outfits, and more masculine clothing/hair options. That said, the game is complete with or without DLC, and as the game gets a bigger DLC list, I encourage new spritographers to try the base game first and see if they really want new places to chill in.
