[h3] **NOT YOUR TYPICAL GAME, BE AWARE!** [/h3]
Okay, right from the start I'm gonna mention the elephant in the room, and that is that this is not really a game. Well, somewhat it is. It has some game mechanics for interactions, but that's pretty much it. There is no deep gameplay. This is more like setting up your notes, listening to music, writing a personal diary, using a timer, and keeping a calendar for your habits. When I first bought the game I thought there was gonna be something more exciting, but after trying it out, there really isn't. This is a game that is better to have running in the background rather than actually sitting there and playing it, kinda like a clicker game minus the attention needed. I honestly wonder if the target audience for this kind of genre is very narrow. I bought this game and tried it out before showing it to my niece, and I still have mixed feelings about it. I guess for a child this would be the equivalent of playing with a doll in a dollhouse. I also took it a step further and actually played this game for a couple of hours so I could properly write a review about it. Currently, as I'm writing this review, I'm level 40 and only one achievement away from finishing it. In terms of "gameplay," I have to say that everything is pretty well done. I never found a single bug, switching between panels is fast, and the animations are alright. Unlocking spirits takes a lot of time though, so be patient. By the way, that is one of the best things about this game. The spirits are very cute, and I'm glad they come with different skins. The currency used to buy stuff is also pretty easy to get, and we are all happy about that because you can buy a lot of things without struggling too much. Overall, I still have mixed feelings about the game because there really isn't much of a "game" here, but what it is trying to do, it does pretty well. If you want something relaxing that you can leave running in the background while organizing things, then you might enjoy it. As for the price of the game and the DLCs, that is more debatable. If you're being budget minded, you might want to wait for it to go on sale.
