Edit after 7ish hours: I really like this. It's a good idea executed well, and the price is lower than it needs to be. The developer is kind, interactive, and appreciative. That's a great combo for a big thumbs-up from me! I'm going to leave the original text of my review, but the game is far less idle-friendly than I thought (at least at the point I've gotten to), but that's perfectly fine. edit 2: March 2023--- the dev continues to patch in small changes that make the game feel much better. Great work. ________________________________ By changing the format from match-3 to a slot machine, the developer has managed to (possibly accidentally) create a really good formula for an semi-idle game that provides the regular little serotonin shots that a slot machine is so good at. I forsee putting a good number of hours into this- I can't speak to the depth or longevity of it yet, but since it's so new and light on reviews I wanted to put a little "thumbs up" out there.
It was actually pretty fun and I was glad to see there weren't any microtransactions. Well worth the $3-4

Weirdly addicting game play, but there's no end game, just spin on glacier until you get bored. Also the game has a strange learning curve, where you kinda realize the shop food only refreshes if you're out of mana, making mana potions worthless ultimately. I will say, the volcano is by far the best part of the game, as the enemies feel like a real threat and are fun to battle against, especially the lava golem. The bonus on the volcano is also insane, as I got a 160k hit which was probably the best part of my experience. The game is surprisingly fun, but needs an end game goal and also the different stages need to give varying amounts of gold. I get that making them all give the same amount allows you to grind any zone, but it makes them all feel the same at some point. - EDIT Dev responded that collections are the end game, which is totally fair. Looking forward to new content in the future.
i was asked to beta test this game and i really liked it because of the different style:- a slot game mixed with RPG elements to me it was unusual so i was interested, it was addictive with good graphics and good all round gameplay, i really liked it
This game absolutely rips. Not sure if it's actually good for normal, socially well-adjusted individuals, or if I just like gambling a little too much, but either way it was well worth my $4. I was able to max out the collections in about 7 hours, but there are a few grindy achievements I'll likely come back to complete next time I catch the wheel-spinning bug. I'd love to see more content added in the future, and at $4 I'd happily pay a couple bucks for a DLC. It has some very good automation options, which makes it a perfect game to sit back and chill with while listening to some music and enjoying a nice beverage. This is obviously a one-person (or very small) dev team, and the game is a little janky in spots, but I found the jankiness mostly endearing in the old-school flash game sort of way. The most annoying glitch is a persistent audio issue causing sound effects to loop indefinitely until the next sfx plays, which then loops itself, and so on... not sure exactly what triggers this, but it seems to happen mostly when I hit potions on the slots, and only can be fixed by completely closing and reopening the game. I opted to mute the in-game audio entirely pretty early in my playthrough since it's not really necessary to enjoy the game anyways, and I'd much rather just listen to some albums while I spin (although the game's BGM is perfectly serviceable). My only other gripe is I'd love a way to click through certain animations; the bandit camp minigame slider in particular gets tedious to sit through after a while. Anyways, for four (4) United States freedom dollars, you really can't afford not to buy this. The dopamine-to-dollar ratio is through the roof. Why are more people not playing this game???
This game is a nice blend between an RPG and a slot game. It blends together the excitement provided by the slots through the base game and bonuses with the RPG through the battles, different avatars and items that offer you buffs. I like that there are some well thought tricks that you can use to advance much quicker (spending all the mana so you can eat at the inn, or use particular avatars to have an advantage against different bosses), that the levels are different and the bonuses/battles offer diversity and that i get the thrill without the need to gamble real money. I have reached the volcano level so far and look forward to see how the other will be.
As a gamer the game just plays itself until you land on a bonus or battle feature spin, but as a gambler this game hits nearly the same dopamine that a real slot machine provides! Its got the different symbols, the bonus features with RNG mini games, the "anticipation" spins if you have 2 special symbols on the wheel, and coin showers if you make it big! For $1 its not bad and it's nice to have on while I watch a movie or try to get work done.
An interesting take on slot games blended with RPG elements. While the slot mechanics are the basics, it's the abilities, level-ups, combat and exploration aspects that make this game unique and more fun than a classic slot game. The exploration of the different zones coupled with the unique feel of the bonus & combat areas bring a lot of fun to the progression. There's an element of skill added to the game that moves it away from just random spinning to a more calculated approach where you need to take into account abilities, setup for buffs and items etc. This adds to the overall experience and makes the game a bit more than just the sum of its parts. The design (looks, items, avatars etc) as well as the music add immersion and flavor and so far there were no bugs or anything preventing progression. Looking forward to the end-game of item collections and achievements.
This is a slots machine RPG. Quite interesting concept. It's not very interesting if you play everything manually, but the game ain't bad if you activate auto spins + auto combat and play the game as an idle game. I usually only play with the music, and when the music disappears or changes I check the game again because then there's some kind of event or battle in the game. If you have an open mind and want to try something new that hasn't been done a million times in other games already, I can definitely recommend it.
It doesnt really explain anything well and the slots part is dull. No real sound effects, no real incentive to continue playing at all really. Its just boring.
