SpeedRunners 2 is a high-speed multiplayer platformer where rival superheroes face off in breakneck races using parkour, grappling hooks, and game-changing power-ups. Fall behind, and a shrinking ring of fire eliminates you – until only one runner remains.

O primeiro SpeedRunners marcou a minha infância, e provavelmente de muitas pessoas. Poder jogar esse jogo estando mais barato que o primeiro me fez chorar de nostalgia. Recomendo demais pra quem quiser! :D
First one is better, but this aint that bad
played SR1 a lot SR2 has new characters that look really cool, they are in 3D, the graphics are better. The problems: - the graphics: it makes the game less lisible and you lose where you were - the items: the new items are very strong (especially the pistol (3 shots and stun you on hit, and the projectile is pretty fast)) - less maps than SR1 - maps don't feel as good as the ones from SR1 (some updated maps from SR1 and a lot of acceleration places that catapult you and so you can lose or win really quickly in these parts) i didn't read much of the EULA but there was some things that a lot of people probably do not like. Can't talk about multiplayer since i didn't try it (mostly to play with friends locally) And didn't pay too much attention to the soundtrack to evaluate it. i don't think i saw a custom/roulette game mode/modifiers. Overall, i do not recommend it in its current state.

I've only played one session, but it seems like what I hoped for - SpeedRunners, but with a high frame rate. I've always loved SpeedRunners for couch competitive gaming. And at this price, it's a steal for the upgrade. I can't understand the negative reviews so far, my only guess is that some community is review bombing the game for some reason? If it turns out I missed something and the game becomes unfun after the first hour, I will update this review.
Demo legal, quando lança?
Really fun, but lacking in some aspects. A powerful level editor like speedrunners 1 to keep the game fresh Clearer visuals, the backgrounds make it hard to follow the action sometimes A bit disappointing since I loved the first one but it's a decent start!
Everything I could have wanted from a sequel to the first game. Speedrunners already felt like a perfected concept but now there's more original characters, more customization, and better looking graphics. I don't really know what else I could ask for. I will absolutely accrue more than my money's worth in random 3 hour sessions with friends for just as long as the original did, at least.
I mean it's fun, i like the makeover, the story is quiet underwhelming, im sure it'll be fun with friends. There is still a lot to be desired since beating the short campaign yields no real reward. For the current price point (since its on sale) i think it's worth the 8 dollars if you buy the bundle, I wouldnt buy it at full price till its more polished.
the game is chock full of game breaking bugs and softlocks for now. even more than the beta somehow. As a fan of SR1 and having played the beta/playtest every day until it shut down, I can say that I love this game, and what its going for but right now i cannot in good faith recommend this purchase. if you alt tab, usually the game softlocks. if you try to submit a bug report, the game softlocks. if you go into settings and change too much, the game softlocks. if you do absolutely nothing out of the ordinary during a match, the game softlocks and wont take any input. The beta somehow had LESS bugs than this release. Besides that, I have to say that they changed the physics from how it played during the beta/playtest. Back in the beta it was perfect, very snappy and responsive, any failures were my undeniably my own fault. In this "full release" theyve changed the physics seemingly, and it feels SIGNIFICANTLY way less responsive and it feels more "floaty" for lack of a better term, especially the grappling. I cant recommend this game as it is now. If and when they update it to at the very least not have as many softlocks requiring alt f4'ing out of the game a grand total of 8, yes 8 times in my 0.6 hours so far, so about 35 minutes, i will change my review to positive.
I played the original a bunch with my friends but haven't played it in probably 4-5 years. From the perspective of getting on and just casually playing with friends to have fun, this game is awesome and is an improvement from the first! I really dig the visuals and characters, and I thoroughly enjoy the movement. My only critique is that the current "unfair" CPUs are not that hard, but were good enough that we had to stay focused to keep beating them.
